This smart monitor is great you can play games as well as stream YouTube and other apps. The bad thing is the audio quality is not up to par. Then again Samsung audio is a hit or miss with there item.

I was looking for a small TV for the bedroom. I stumbled across this item on a great sale and I was blown away by the sound, the features, and the ease of setup. I recommend this item to anyone who needs a monitor, but also a home smart hub, video game monitor (Xbox cloud built in, play with just a controller), lots of smart apps for video, and the speakers! The sound must be heard to be believed. This is an excellent product and I am surprised more people aren't on board with it. Cable connection? Who needs that? This is a great item for a spare room, office, or wherever a monitor/tv/smart hub works best (item not rated for pool, tub, jacuzzi, sauna, or any other place where it might get wet. Honestly, i don’t know why there were reviews complaining about the picture quality. It looks amazing to me. It’s a great size that I can use as a monitor for work and switch to a TV for entertainment. connecting it to my PC was really easy. All I needed was a HDMI to USB-C cord (not included). I plugged it into HDMI-2 specifically and it connected easily. As a TV, I can pair it with my AirPods and listen that way. But the external speakers are pretty nice too! The only complaint I have is that it does NOT have all of my favorite apps. It has Netflix, Disney+, HBO Maxx, YouTube, Prime, etc. But it does not have other apps like Viki or Crunchyroll, etc. you can use your phone to AirPlay it, but I wish I could just watch it on the TV. the TV does have an Internet button/app too that lets you surf the web, but it’s pretty finicky. Overall though, can’t complain. I wanted a work monitor that I could pair with my PC. But also a tv and being in a small space, this one was fantastic. I just hope it’s built to last. ... show more

Well, I've had it for a few weeks now, and I regret buying it more by the day. The picture is BAD, both as a TV and as a computer monitor. It's so bad at light-to-dark transitions that simple scene changes look like there are ambulances flashing lights in the background. And the menus are bad. You can't hide stuff you don't use, like Samsung TV. You can't organize all the stuff you use on one screen. And worst of all, it shows advertisements! There is no way to turn them off. I paid for this TV, but I have to look at ads. Samsung's response to customer complaints is to call ads a "more enriching experience". ! I stopped using Samsung phones a few years ago because of low quality and endless junk apps and ads. I guess I won't be buying anything else from them either. Original Review Well, it was cheap and it does work as both a TV and a monitor. It's not great at either. It has terrible ghosting issues -- if parts of the screen change from light to dark too quickly it leaves a white space like a negative for a split second. It's not too bad on TV, but it's really bad while playing video games. Everything looks like it has a magic spell cast on it. The tv is okay. Ghosting issues and bad Soap Opera Effect, but I figured out how to turn that down. The menus are awkward and clearly not designed for my convenience. The remote was okay once I figured out how to use it: no clear instructions and if you accidentally press the volume button it takes you off to wonderland. I don't regret my purchase, but next time I'll spend a little more money. ... show more

As a Smart TV, is great! The hub is awesome! The remote and mirroring option are both extremely sluggish. Live TV on Samsung TV Plus is choppy despite my high speed internet service. Edited: As a monitor when connected wirelessly, it’s grainy; however, the picture is FANTASTIC when connected through HDMI!!! The frame rate connected with HDMI and the Smart hub is incredible! The awesome qualities of this smart monitor greatly outweigh the not so awesome. Will share pictures later. ... show more

I bought this Smart Monitor for my mother to connect to her laptop. She was having a hard time seeing the small print on the laptop screen. She also doesn't have any TVs and is space limited. This was the perfect device. It uses the Samsung Smart TV interface which I find very intuitive. When she wants to switch to the computer monitor, she selects PC from the smart tv menu. The resolution and refresh rate are fine for her needs. The remote is also intuitive with a circular navigation button which is easy to use without having to read button labels. The base is flat, solid metal which allows you to place things on top of the base (like her laptop). There is no vertical adjustment, but the monitor sits at the right height. Love this so far. Been using it for 6 months+ and it works great. Connects nicely with my mac( had to buy a converter) , super useful for work. I also use it as a TV and watch movies on Prime, Netflix.Nice product
