Unfortunately the design in the padding causes no air to escape out if the top and causes your feet to sweat really badly. After 20 minutes my feet are visibly wet when i take them off just from wearing them. Being waterproof shouldnt mean they shouldnt ventilate at all. The materials are far too dense for a shoe like this at that price. Theyre comfortable and the traction is insane. They fit perfectly. They weigh almost nothing. Great quality construction. Very waterproof. Only complaint, the laces constantly come undone no matter how tight you tie them. It's really annoying. I shouldn't have to double knot $130 shoes. But seriously, that's the only issue I could find to complain about. You really can't find a better hiking boot, I've tried them all. They seem to be a quality boot, but they run small and narrow. I originally purchased normal size (11), and definitely to small. I then sent back and ordered the size 11.5 and length is fine, but still too tight on my foot, and would've resulted in blisters on a good hike. These are narrow I have normal feet. If you wear thick socks; no more than a half size worked best for my feet. A full size gave me slop in the length an width. This is only for the insulated models. Uninsulated are point on for sizing unless you have wide feet I can't help you there unless you wanna go up a full size (?) Great shoes, fast shipping. post later how they hold up. ... show more
