  • Excellent Value and Extremely Comfortable
Size: 11 Color: Elk/Mountain Red
I am very impressed with the Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus Amped boots. True to size. Right out of the box they were incredibly comfortable, with no break in period needed. The cushioning and support make them easy to wear for long walks, hikes, or all day errands without foot fatigue. The traction feels stable and secure on different surfaces, and the boots are lightweight while still feeling durable and well made. They provide great support without feeling stiff or heavy. For the quality, these boots are an excellent value for the money. They perform like much more expensive hiking boots while still being stylish enough for everyday wear. Overall, they are super comfortable, reliable, and a great investment. ... show more

  • I love these!
Size: 8 Color: Black/Blush Rose
I use these for hiking and work. So I originally got these a while back for hiking alone, but my ankles are prone to sprains. These are amazing at supporting the ankle, they feel decently comfortable (I add additional insoles to cushion the heel), and are incredibly sturdy. I've killed two other day-shoes in the time that I've had these. I can also attest that at work, when a bin of water was dumped on them, they are indeed waterproof! Do they look a little beat up? Yes. But they definitely are worth the price. They fit well, don't need too much breaking in, and aside from being hot in the summer, are a shoe I'd love to put more milage on for years to come. ... show more

  • Comfortable and durable hiking boots
Size: 10 Wide Color: Stratus/Canyon Rose
I’ve been using these hiking boots (this is my second pair of boots) for several outings, and overall they have performed very well. They feel sturdy and well made, and the materials seem durable. From the first use, they provided good support and comfort without causing discomfort or pressure points. The traction is reliable on different types of terrain, and they offer good stability while walking on uneven surfaces. I also appreciate the fit, which feels secure without being too tight. They are easy to put on and adjust. So far, I’m satisfied with the quality and performance. They meet my expectations and are a good option for hiking or outdoor activities. ... show more

  • Cute Enough for Town, Tough Enough for the Trail (and a Dirt Bike)
I bought the Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus Hiking Boots for a recent trip to the mountains, and let me tell you—they understood the assignment. Not only did these boots carry me up rocky trails like a mountain goat with a mortgage, but they also pulled double duty as my motorcycle boots while riding my dirt bike. Yep. These cute little hikers took on the trail and the throttle, and came out looking like champs. First off: comfort. I wore them all day—hiking, riding, walking around camp—and didn’t get a single blister. My feet felt supported, happy, and weirdly smug about my choice in footwear. Durability? Check. I scuffed them against rocks, got them muddy, accidentally kicked my bike’s footpeg more times than I care to admit... and they still look great. These boots are tanks in disguise. Style-wise, they’re actually really cute. I got compliments at a gas station. A gas station. That’s when you know you’re onto something. They look good with leggings, jeans, or your average dirt-streaked trail pants. And for the price? Honestly, these are a steal. They feel like boots that should cost twice as much but somehow don’t. A rare win for both my feet and my wallet. If you're on the fence—hop off and lace these up. Whether you're climbing mountains or revving engines, these boots can handle it. And look good doing it. ... show more

  • Tongues stick out and collect rain and snow
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Stratus/Canyon Rose
These are very comfortable and warm. They do run small and the wide is barely wide. My feet stay dry and they are light and easy to walk in. But the way the laces slide under the leather logo on the tongue is terrible. If snow is any higher than an inch, the tongues act like a snow scoop. And if it’s actively snowing or raining, the tongue funnels the wet right in! ... show more

  • Nice Trail Shoe - Good Fit - Attractive
Size: 11 Wide Color: Shark/River Blue
I haven't used these on a trail yet but I find them to be an excellent fit. I normally need a 10.5 but because I wanted thick socks and room for a prosthetic, I purchased an 11 wide. It was a perfect fit, quite comfortable. I used them when it was icy out for better traction and I was pleased.

  • Comfortable, sturdy & worth every penny!
Size: 12 Color: Dark Stone/Cosmos
After looking through all the reviews on women's hiking boots, I chose these for a trip I have coming up this summer. I thiught I'd have to break these in... NOPE. I have had a knee replacement last year, a hip replacement 10 years ago, a broken foot last year and have back issues so I have a little "swagger" when I walk. I was on my feet all day in Hokas and put these on for errands...wow! These were supportive and super comfortable! They're sturdy yet lightweight. I wear a women's 12 so I usually have to buy men's shoes and I was elated to find the "girly" colors too! I got the light vanilla with pink laces and I adore them! My feet are happy for these too! Slip resistant and provide excellent ankle support. They stayed tied and didn't slip on my foot at all! No pincjong on the toe so the toe box is perfect width and the entire shoe is not too big and not too small! I love these! ... show more

I ordered these boots last min before a winter trip. Needed something waterproof and comfortable for a lot of walking. I was able to wear right out of the box. Kept my feet warm and dry the whole trip. Very durable and now my favorite shoe. Fit true to size
