Owed a 4" one for a few years and loved it. Tried a friends 6" saw and went online and bought this one. Just sllightly bigger than the 4" but cuts a lot faster plus cutting bigger branches.

    • Great Little Saw But Poor Battery Life
This saw comes with a hard case which is nice. It also seems well built and cuts well as long as it cuts. Adjusting the chain tension is easy with the dial located on the side of the saw. No tools needed. The issue is the battery life. Batteries are rated at 2AH and using it on and off during clearing some small branches, one battery lasted just short of 30 minutes. Charging the battery with the provided charger took about 90 minutes so expect some down time with the 2 batteries provided. This would move from being a good saw to a great one with more battery capacity. ... show more

Love It!!!! Just what I needed for small jobs around the yard.

    • works for a bit then stops
opened package, did the setup. cut down 3/4 of our Lilacs. then it stopped spinning. brought it to my workbench, took it apart, toothbrush cleaned it. Now it sounds as if it grinding some parts. when attempting cutting a branch, it bounces around then is stuck. removed battery, checked chain tightness and put back together, oiled chain. now 2 days later It starts but is making the grinding sounds and stops with 20 seconds of cut start. tried tightened wheel and it sounded same, loosened chain and it ran for a bit and then sounds like it fell off the sprockets. I have brought back to my bench and will start over again. Any ideas would be helpful ... show more
