My review of a surprisingly effective chainsaw. This hand chain saw is a power house. I recently put this chain saw to the test on my land, and I am genuinely impressed. After multiple attempts at applying the screen protector I gave up as there was lint on the stick side so it was of no use to me. The screen guard worked as detailed in the description. I can not send back as the screen protector is essentially destroyed. Will not buy again from this vendor. I bought this screen protector and guard due to the reviews. I bought this small chainsaw about 6 months ago for light cutting of branches and brush around the yard with the hope that it could handle some tasks more easily than could be done with large lopping shears or hand saws. I have had occasion to use it several times since purchase and have, each time, been pleased at how well such a small electric saw has handled the tasks at hand. It cuts smaller branches rapidly and with ease since it has good power and cutting speed. Just today, we had a very large branch come down due to age and wind. It is clearly large enough to require professional removal by an arborist. But, the end section of the branch was smaller in size (4" - 5" thickness) and had fallen in such a way as to create a problem across our driveway. I decided to see if this saw could handle this section for me . . . . .and it did so with ease. I did not try to cut through the full thickness of the branch, but easily cut about 2" into it on one side and then did the same from the other side. This left a small piece in the middle to be cut and my Saker saw cut that away with ease - problem solved. Don't be fooled by the term "mini" electric saw. Yes, it's a small saw for small jobs, but it functions with easy handling and excellent power for many types and sizes of yard brush and trees. It's a saw that outperforms what one might expect of a saw at this very modest price. I only wish that I had bought it with a carrying case for ease of storage and transport, but that was my error of judgment. The saw performs fully as well as advertised. Would I buy it again if I had it to do over? Absolutely!

I highly recommend this product. This weekend I took down three white pine trees in very little time. It easily cuts through 4 inch branches or logs. It is very lightweight and almost just an extension of your arm. I felt it was safe and easy to use. I live on a wooded lot on a lake in the Ozarks. The battery life was impressive.

Great Little Chainsaw. had some yard work to do and this helped. My 'big' branch cutters couldn't handle some branches and to my surprise this little saw did the job. If your yard has trees, shrubs etc. this is a must have. The BEST THING for me is how quiet it is!

I recently bought one because a branch fell in my yard and I needed to cut it up along with a few other trimmings in my yard. Being left handed, the saw was somewhat akward to use with left hand. Easy enough to operate, so I use my right hand. Saw does runs good and easily cuts small items with a good battery life. Beats using the larger gas saw for storm cleanup of small downed branches and debris. Good value for price.

Amazing little saw. Used this for more than 4 hours to cut small (1 to 2 inches) trees along a 2400 feet property line, on a mountain in the woods, to prepare for a fence installation. The 2 batteries were a great help while I used one and had the second on the charger. When one ran out, I was able to keep going with the second. Neighbors and fence installers were amazed at how quickly the saw worked. Small size made it easy to get close to the ground to cut on uneven terrain. My wife has used it to trim tree branches. She loves the light weight.
