If I could give these less than 1 star I WOULD!!!! They came in a box that looked like it was made in the 80's with stains on it. The skates had brown splash spots of something all over them. There are scuffs all over them. The blades have rust spots. OH AND IT SMELLS LIKE A DEAD ANIMAL INSIDE OF THEM!!!!! I have had to clean the outside, I have scrubbed the inside several times, I have had to get shoe polish for the scuffs, and I'm not even sure what to do about the blades other than to replaces them. I am using these as a prop for my daughters pageant. However afterwards the plan was for her to use them to ice skate. I would never let her put these on her feet!!!! EVER! They are sitting in my kitchen as we speak because I am still trying to get the smell out so we can try to use them. My kitchen smells so bad! I can't let my daughter use these if I can't recover them some. I do not have time to send these back before the pageant or I would! This is horrible business. The post said used but good condition. These belong in garbage can! OH AND THE BOX THAT THEY WERE SHIPPED IN ALSO CAME WITH HALF A BAND AID STUCK TO THE FRONT!!!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING! ... show more

    • Great skate, but one was defective
After wearing four times and noticing that my daughters right ankle was turning in, I had her skating instructor look at her skates and she informed me that the skate was defective. There was a crease in the material which was causing her ankle to not be supported. I was super bummed because they were a great looking skate that my daughter loved. Turned out that the return policy had expired the day before I contacted Amazon. But I chatted with a customer service rep (Sammy) that issued me a full refund and paid for the return shipping of the skates. I was very impressed with their customer service!! I ordered a brand new pair, with the hopes that we just got a bad pair. ... show more
