It's SO much more beautiful in person!! I bought this chandelier to add a feminine touch to my office, but I still wanted to keep with the modern theme of our house. This lighting is perfect! It did take about and hour or so to assemble and hang. Tedious but SO worth the time! I'm attaching some pics of the install process so you know what to expect... - It comes with a pair of white gloves so you don't get fingerprints all over the mirrored surface or the crystals. - Each crystal is individually encased in its own small box. - The braided metal strands are labeled in small zipper bags so you know which strands to use where. - The crystals are heavy which is a little worrisome since (*THIS IS THE BAD PART*) the chandelier affixes to the ceiling with just anchors into drywall and does NOT attach to the electrical box in any way, so I was worried that it might fall down, but so far so good. It casts rainbows all over the room and I have mine installed with a dimmer switch (Lutron DVWCL-153PH-WH Diva Dimmable CFL/LED Dimmer with Wallplate, White), so I can set it very low at night but it still illuminates well enough that I don't need a desk lamp to see my keyboard. However, since i used LEDs (GU10 LED Bulbs, Ascher GU10 COB Light Bulbs / 5W, Equivalent 50W Halogen / 420LM / 5000K Daylight White / Non-Dimmable / LED Spotlight MR16 GU10 Base / Pack of 5), be forewarned that they do hum when on a low setting, just fyi. Also, I have a glass top desk so it reflects the light and I can see rainbow colors on the desk top (which I love, but might distract or be a negative for someone else. The price is great, and this light fixture is stunning and fairly easy to install, once we added our own mounting screws. It came with 10 tiny screws and tiny anchors that simply didn't look strong enough to support the weight of this fixture. There are 5 holes in the fixture with a spot to place a screw. We used 1.5" drywall anchors and they worked great. Also, the bulbs that are included don't put out much light. With the bulbs included I think it would be better as an accent piece rather than a fixture that is supposed to brighten a room. It comes with 3 watt LED GU10 bulbs that have a very narrow beam, more like a spotlight. The color of the bulbs is an intense blue/white light, which really bothered my eyes when looking at it. These bulbs did not work with our dimmer switch! The pictures I have attached are using the bulbs that were included. We ended up buying 8 watt warm white dimmable LED GU10 bulbs with a 42 degree beam in order to make it work as a light fixture bright enough to illuminate our dining room. The bulbs were fairly easy to switch out, even after all of the strands of glass crystals were in place. About half of the 49 glass crystals were flawed or damaged in some way, so I was a little worried that it would detract from the overall effect of the light. Once we got it installed the damaged crystals weren't noticeable at all, since most of the damage was at the top of the crystals. Also, I would recommend using two people for the installation of the crystals. One person should stand on the ladder, while the other person attaches the crystals to the strands and hands them up to be attached to the light fixture. It is really beautiful, and you can see the prism effect when light shines through the glass crystals. One thing I don't really care for is that the crystal balls make round shadows underneath the light. We have ours positioned above our dining room table and it's a little weird to see all those dark shadows directly under the light! So if you need this light to be able to see detail work, forget it. Overall, I love this light fixture now that we've added improvements to it. The price was low enough that I didn't feel ripped off when I found that we needed to buy an additional $60 worth of anchors and bulbs to get it up to my standards. It was well packaged, and I appreciated the removable protective film over the shiny metal base.

The light is just stunning. I could not be happier with this purchase. The only issue I ran into was not reading that the light bulbs were not included, but other than that...easy instructions and easy to install. Very well made. One ball actually fell off and hit several things when we were trying to install and the ball did not break! They do give extra spare pieces to hold the balls in place. The only real true downside to this item is no other spare parts. It took us 45 mins or longer to find one of the small clear beads that sit just below the ball, was found. It would be nice to have some of those as spare parts just in case one of the balls were to fall off again. Otherwise this is a product I would highly recommend. Absolutely love it and looks glorious when turned on.

I initially bought this light fixture for my Bedroom . I was in the process of remodeling my bedroom .However i never got around to having it installed in my bedroom .I placed this order almost 3 years ago .It has been sitting in a box in my closet . so i decided to buy me a new dinning room table and chairs . My old light fixture that was installed was nothing spectacular about it .It was installed when my home was built about 10 years ago . And the old light fixture was installed in an very odd place . It was installed on the side of my dining room table and NOT in the middle . so every time someone would get up from the table you would bumped your head on the old light fixture !!! So i got tired of that and plus i didnt like the way the old light fixture looked .i was looking for something contemporary/glam and something that sparkle. ! So i was like oh i can use my light fixture that i initally purchased for my bedroom and put this in my dining room instead. So my contractor came by yesterday 01/13/2020 and installed my light fixture.At first i was worried that the light fixture would be too small . But when i opened the door and walked into my dinning room .I was jumping for joy .Not only is this beautiful in person but its a nice size ! I absolutely love this light fixture .It looks expensive and looks very elegant ! Its WORTH PENNY !!!! AND AT A VERY GOOD PRICE TOO ! I GAVE THIS 4 1/2 STARS DUE TO MY CONTRACTOR SAID THIS WAS TEDIOUS TO INSTALL BUT OVERALL 5 STARS !!

I got two of these. Takes a while about 30 minutes to string the pieces together. I had our contractors install them. It did not take them that long at all. Well these are professionals. However we realized the light downstairs did not have a switch and was pull chain. I was devastated. I researched online and found that with a $3 hardware from the ceiling fan section of homedepot or Lowes, you can easily convert this beauty into a fixture that works with just pulling the chain. I even got a matching extender and pull chain here for $8 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CN1XVYT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So happy with this light fixtures. Glad I bought two. Those crystal balls are heavy. Ensure they are well anchored into your celing. Great product overall. I will buy more for other rooms in the house. One thing we did different as well, I bought 5000K LED lights. I noticed many in the review said the recommended lights weren't bright enough and did not light up very well. Well the bright 5000K lights make a huge difference. It lights up the space brightly. We wanted a pretty functional light fixture. That easy tweak made it work like a charm. Plus the one we installed upstairs are dimmable too. Win win overall. Great light fixtures!

This chandelier is beautiful. I had it in my previous house and this is the reason why I bought it again. It arrived quickly and well packaged (double box). I really liked the extra strand of bubble, just in case. The mounting of the 1st plate on the ceiling was hard work though (I consider myself as a quite good level DIY person, maybe a ladder a bit short didn't help), lucky me I got a "ceiling stud, just one, but managed with another anchor to give the whole thing stability; this thing is not heavy. But the plate being big, you don't really see what happens behind when you work at it. After connecting the wires and putting on the white gloves (provided), I peeled the protective sheet of the covering plate and went for the final attachment that completes the base. It was hard, please note that there is no symmetry, you have to insert small rods into small holes and need to double check you have all of them done, otherwise the second plate is not attached properly to the first one and the space between them is too high to insert the bubbles.. (hope I am clear, English is not my language! French is..). Anyway, the third try was the good one. I bought 4 LED bubbles - neutral white when I ordered the chandelier, so I inserted them ans simply clipped the bubble strands. Overall I am really happy with it, it was work (I should have called an electrician maybe) but it worths it. The price is quite good for what you get. Lastly, the chandelier is well made, secure on an electrical point of view. I recommend the product, as for the installation, either you are quite comfortable on a DIY level or your call an electrician.

This is one of the prettiest light fixtures that I have ever seen. I loved it when I saw it online, and it's even prettier in real life. Installation was a breeze; even attaching the large crystal balls to the strings was easy once I figured out how to do it. My only complaint is that it doesn't put out much light. It absolutely WILL NOT light up a room. The fixture gives off only a small spotlight directly under it, so you will need alternate lighting for the rest of the room. I put it in a very small room with the intention that it would be the only light fixture, but I will now either need to install recessed pin lights around the perimeter of the room or get a couple of lamps, which I was trying to avoid because I wanted the crystals to be the show piece of the room. I would recommend the light because it's so beautiful, but it is important to realize before you buy it that it is very, very dim. UPDATE - Someone suggested that I switch out the LED bulbs for halogen bulbs. I used three 50w GU10 halogen bulbs and problem solved - no more dim room! I realize that the majority of people are looking to switch halogens to LEDs for energy cost cutting and heat issues; however, for my needs the halogen lights work perfectly!
