I bought these to be work lights on my semi trailer. So far I am happy. They are bright, although I was hoping for a bit more spread from a flood light. I don't have test equipment, but I would say that 1,200 lumens is quite plausible based on my own observation and the fact that 1,200 lumens from 18 watts is a believable claim. My semi trailer will be a good test of how durable they are, I will update if they don't hold up. The materials seem to be quality and the wiring has a durable feel to it, but the paint seems to chip off quite easy. Update 11/21/17: I only got a chance to install one of the lights, somehow I misplaced the second one, but I noticed water inside the one light today that I did install. I installed it in June, so that's roughly 5 months before water got inside. ... show more

The lights are very bright and easy to install. Also there were complaints about moisture getting in the lights. So I opened the ends and sealed them and then around the front lenses. I used Gorilla all weather caulk and seal. I saw it on youtube.

Best lights for my enclosed trailer. Pros: low cost, Work great, Really bright in small spaces like my trailer. Cons: Mounting the light to the bracket was a nightmare, you have to attach the metal u shape bracket to the wall, insert the small stop nuts into the white plastic light housing then using an alan wrench screw the bolt in the back of the light with little space and try not to drop anything. One light had problems with, the coating caused the holes not to line up which caused about 25 min of frustration for installation as opposed to 3 min for the other lights. ... show more

Installed these on my boat .. Went from drawing 8amps per halogen on my old lights to a few hundred milliamperes . The light dispersion is very noticeable and no more hot spots that halogens project. So far two seasons and they work perfect ! Very well made product regardless of the price . Several dock mates have ordered these since ..
