  • Great Idea - works well
When I first saw this Saillong Zero Turn Mower Bucket Holder I thought: "What a great idea!" The fact is, many times when I go out to mow the lawn I end up having to pick up trash, carry tools or other items with me, or move items from one place to another in the yard. I previously did this by placing the items in the foot tray in front of me, but it wasn't always the safest thing to do, and often blocked access to the foot brake if I needed to use it. This simple bucket-holding device, which consists of an upright square tubing bar mounted to the mower frame, and with an open ring attached to it which perfectly accommodates a standard 5-gallon bucket; is a wonderful helper that makes it much easier to carry items around while using the tractor. Based on the product ad, the holder is designed to be mounted to one of the square tubing sections that hold the front wheels. No drilling nor cutting is required, as the included mounting hardware basically sandwiches the tubing section between a pair of very thick gauge mounting plates and bolts, holding the bucket holder securely. What I personally did, however, is mount the bucket holder on the rear of my mower, to a thick towing plate that's installed back there. This way, the bucket doesn't get in the way of my field of view, which I appreciate. I just had to use different bolts from the ones that came with the kit, since the longer bolts from the kit were threaded from only from the middle of the bolts to the end, and so I couldn't tighten the nuts down enough to clamp down on the towing plate vs. one of the front wheel mounting tubes. The materials and construction of this holder are first-rate, with more than sufficiently thick tubing used for the upright rod, quality welding at the junction of the lower upright section and the mounting plate, and what appears to be a great quality paint job (looks like powder coating). The only assembly (besides the actual mounting to the mower) consists of only attaching the two upright sections to each other and securing with a single bolt and nut, and then attaching the two bucket ring sections to the upright with a pair of bolts and locking nuts. Easy! ... show more

  • Wish I had found this five years ago!
This review is for Saillong Zero Turn Mower Bucket Holder, Compatible with Zero Turn Riding Lawn Mower. So many times I’ve wished I had something like this. I should have known Amazon would have it! The bucket holder was fairly easy to assemble but did require a socket wrench and a regular open end wrench (neither included). We have a Spartan Zero Turn and the front bar was too thick (tall) for the included bolts, so I bought bolts an inch longer and it worked just fine. The holder can be removed, but it isn’t exactly easy, so I don’t think I would want to take it on and off very often – perhaps just when it goes in for service. The holder seems very sturdy, and doesn’t interfere with my feet, the brake pedal, or the wheels when they turn. I’m almost looking forward to my next mow. Almost. Update: Well, after that first mow, I am still singing the bucket holder's praises, however it DID interfere with the wheels when they turned. Mid-mow I had to stop and take it off, move it back, and put it back on. Also, I think the vibration of the mower caused the screws to loosen and it was sort of flopping around. When I moved it, I made it much tighter and it was great for the rest of the mow. It was wonderful being able to pick up small branches and broken limb pieces without stopping and getting off the mower. Get one. You'll be glad you did! ... show more

  • Looks Like A Great Tool
I saw this & I thought this was a great idea. I always have to pick up sticks, pinecones, etc from the yard while I'm cutting the grass & end up with a bunch of stuff under my feet by the time I'm done mowing. I was really happy with it when we started putting it together. The parts seem very sturdy & well made. It was easy to put together tho you will need your own tools. The only problem is the base that attaches to the mower is about 1/4" too big to get on my mower. We're trying to figure out a way to get it on because I'd really love to use it. I'll update my review if we can get it on my mower. ... show more

  • Bucket List for Lawn Royalty
Finally, a product that understands the chaotic multitasking reality of yard work: the Saillong Zero Turn Mower Bucket Holder. It's a gloriously overengineered solution to the age-old dilemma of “Where do I toss this mystery glove I just found under the hydrangeas?” And no, the answer isn’t your mower's floorboard anymore. This steel sentinel clamps onto your zero turn mower like it’s auditioning for a Fast & Furious reboot—sturdy, non-negotiable, and shockingly useful. There’s no need for drilling, cursing, or creative zip-tie origami. The hardware bolts on faster than you can say “I shouldn’t have tried to mow over that pine cone pile.” Its detachable design is a quiet stroke of genius. Not only does it save space when not in use, but it also gives you the satisfying option to dramatically unclip your bucket like you’re retiring from a particularly productive garbage run. The powder-coated steel feels like it could survive a tumble with a rogue garden gnome and still cradle your five-gallon bucket like a champ. Best of all? It doesn’t mess with your mower’s operation. No steering issues, no blind spots—just a helpful appendage that transforms your mower from a grass-slaying machine into a mobile trash command center. It’s the kind of upgrade that makes your neighbors wonder why they’re still stuffing junk into their shirt pockets. Verdict: If you have a zero turn mower and opposable thumbs, you need this. ... show more
