    • Very good for what it does, but it's obviously what you pay for
I would like to start off by saying I like VASAGLE's products as I have gotten some before and they were perfect. That said, this one wasn't as high quality. When putting it together I noticed the material seemed kind of flimsy but I thought that just had to do with it not being finished yet. Once I was almost done however I had a part break on me simply from picking it up (I'm assuming there was to much weight on the other end as I was only holding a single end). Luckily I had wood glue and I decided to just hold it together using that. It doesn't look pretty but I don't need this to look pretty (which brings another minor gripe, I wish the entire stand wasn't the wood furnishing. They could have used metal like other products. It looks kind of odd with the full wood furnishing.) I digress, the glued together part has held and I was able to get everything together largely without any more problems (Aside from the backboard not fitting properly but I just flipped the board around and it slid right in, which leads me to believe there is a specific orientation the instructions don't tell you about). Overall aside from my minor gripes its a good TV stand for what you pay for it. Not amazing but still worth using if you need a stand and can't afford to get a very professional one. ... show more

The assembly was easy, there are one or two that the directions you have to make sure you had it in the correct position. This was easy enough to put together—my husband was able to do it alone, without much cursing—and it looks great, with a nice rich yet demure color. It seems really sturdy as well, and the cubby holes are large enough that electronics (gaming consoles, cable boxes, etc) could be stacked on top of one another. ... show more

I am no carpenter, and just like all the other furniture I have bought on line in the past year, you need to use precise tools and follow instructions carefully. Most instruction manuals that come with purchases are not adequate for assembly. A little ingenuity goes a long way .

    • Not what I expected
I was disappointed at the overall size of the unit.. the add living room made it look taller and longer. This looks more like a kiddie desk. Not for a big screen TV. Also instructions were not overly clear and simple to assemble this, it took me some time to figure it out. As far as quality I'll have to wait and see when I bring the tv home and actually use this unit. Hoping for the best. ... show more

What I liked about this product was the design and wood finish. It is absolutely beautiful in the room where we set it up. The directions were extremely easy to follow. It took no time for my husband to put it together.
