This functionally did fine for what I needed it for until it vibrated the shaft loose from the motor and got the handle red hot to the point where I burnt my hand pretty good.. I only got to use it for 10 or so minutes. I would not recommend using this if you can get away with just using a heavy trimmer line. If you need something to this extent get a different tool that is better designed for cutting heavy grasses and brush, don't try to make it work with a weed whacker like I did. ... show more

Fits Stihl straight shaft trimmers, not the curved shaft type. Uses an adapter set to mount. Thing is, it does the job. Cut through heavy grasses like they are not there. Does well on live brush up to an inch through. Very happy with it.

Excellent and well-built blade for my Stihl Trimmer. Excellent shipping and service. DANGER - While it should be blear that replacing your string trimmer with a metal blade will give your weed whacker zombie-slaying power, you need to be very, very careful when using it and keep body parts out of the way! You MUST have two other Stihl parts to attach: A "Rider Plate" (PN 4126 713 3100 and a left hand nut (PN 4126-642-7600). ... show more

    • The Blade is Great...However
The blade is great and durable. I was able to cut a 40 x 100 ft lot in 10 min. However installing it can be a pain. It is recommended to have it installed at a Stihl service center.
