That are sharp and work great but there is a issue with quality control. I bought the 12 pack and shared them out as I used this design of shears before and were great. This set is sharp and cuts very well but three of the people I gave them to had issues of breakage. Bear in mind that it has been only one day since I gave them out and those that broke hadn't even faced a full blown trimming session. The two I kept don't appear to have any defects hence I didn't give it one star but unsure if they would last so I can't give more than a two star rating. ... show more

Bought these for my work, i work at a cultivation facility and spend a good 4-5 hours a day pruning and defoling. I’ve had these for 2 weeks and have broken two pairs. the first pair snapped right in half while i was cutting a branch off and the second pair had a screw fall out that was holding the blade on. they’re super sharpe and good for small detail. overall i liked them but they are not made for heavy use. ... show more

I don't have any bonsai, but these are sturdy well made, & useful for about anything you'd use small scissors for.. The blades are Carbon Steel so they can be sharpened better then Stainless, & they can be removed (which makes sharpening easier), but they do rust if not taken care of & oiled. They work great for trimming/pruning herbs, & tackle woody branches up to 1/8 of a inch, but not much bigger, & can be used for all kinds of other chores requiring Small scissors. At this price ($10.99 for 12) you really can't got wrong, rather you're using them for lightweight pruning, snipping thread, or just need scissors for EDC! ... show more

was not worth it to me, sure you get a bunch of them for a cheap price but normal trimming scissors work much better than these in my opinion. i would not buy these again and don't recommend them, your better off with more normal trimming scissors in my opinion. They are sharp but with how you have to hold them you feel like your going to cut yourself all the time with these and the way you hold them is weird. take my word for it and pass these up. ... show more

I have only used 2 pair of them so far but man for the price I dont know how you could go wrong. Not the best for big stems but can do it. Great for trimming. And they clean up easy and keep going even after getting gooey.

These clippers are just what I was looking for and the price is unbeatable. They are decently sharp and a good size for most any persons hand. They work for both right and left handed gardeners and they come all together in one long protective plastic case. My only request of the manufacturer would be that the clippers could be cut individually from the strip so each had a case to place them in separately once being used. The case is melted one section after another with no gaps so you can't just remove the clippers with an individual bag each time meaning if your not careful were they are set the blade rusts quickly. ... show more
