  • It's a One-Way Street
Well designed and accurate tool. You can cut some extremely then strips with this. Well made, too. Now the bearing roller that is used to contact your board, only turns one way. The manufacturer says its to prevent kickback. It has not affected my use whatsoever, but I feel it might at some point. Still, I love this tool. Its a great addition to the shop. ... show more

  • Ease of use to obtain an accurate measurement
Very accurate settings for the work that you are doing. Repeating the measurement is easy and can be made with little effort. Attachment to the table saw was very easy. Thanks for an excellent saw attachment.

  • Accurate and safe
The quality of the material is excellent and the jig is well marked. I was able to make accurate cuts quickly and safely down to 1/32nd of an inch. I used this to make guide blocks for a table project and it worked well. The safety aspect is outstanding as your rips are made without fear of kickback. Even on small cuts I was able to leave the guard in place on my DWE 7485 Table saw. The cost is also competitive. The jig fit out of the box into the miter slot on my DWE7485 Table Saw. A couple of recommendations, allow adjustment of the scale to index to zero when the jig touches the saw blade. You're required now to place the jig against the blade, note where the pointer lands on the scale, mine is 2 1/16" inches, and then subtract your desired measurement from that amount. Also, there is a slight amount of play in the miter slot which requires you to hold the jig tightly against the right side of the slot when preparing for the cut. ... show more

  • Accurate cuts, No kickbacks , Added safety when making thin strip cuts.
Very well made and easy to use. Used it for the first time yesterday to cut some thin strips for a project and every cut was perfect. Had no kickbacks.

  • Does the job well
This jig is exactly what one needs to create narrow rip pieces that are uniform in width. Had to file down the anchor shoes to fit my Delta saw. The tabs or feet were too thick. Once that was done things work perfect.

  • Fraction of the Cost, Comparable Results
Whenever I can, I try to buy American made products. Sometimes, I just can't justify the expense. This is one of those situations. Woodpeckers wants $170 bucks for their version. If it was even double the cost of this, I probably would have purchased an American made jig from them. But at more than 4x the cost...no way. This jig is well made and leaves me confident that once I set it, it will stay put through the last strip I need to cut. Is the scale super accurate. Not really, but it is close enough, and easy enough to use that I can get within 1/64th of my target thickness every time. Cut a test. Make a slight adjustment and I am plowing through my strips. If I am honest, this is a bit of a convenience item for my shop anyway. And this affords me that convenience at a fraction of the cost of my go to American made brand. Sorry Woodpeckers. I love ya, and I love your tools, but sometimes your pricing just feels like you are gouging me. ... show more

  • Nice quality
This is a nicely made product. It is easy to zero it to the blade. But your somewhere in the middle of the scale. Not sure hot to address this other than a digital readout

  • On Point
Sometimes I expect things like this to be straightforward out if the box. I actually had to read the instructions and got set up with setting the indicators to 3-1/4” (70mm) to a blade tooth, not the blade plate. Moved the jig to the 3-1/2” reading and got a perfect 1/4” thin strip. I’m very happy with the results. I looked at another make for about $10 less with one reviewer stating it could not be indexed to the blade. Very happy with this one. Fits in Delta T-Slot perfectly. Becomes easy to use once calibrated to the blade. Nice that the roller bearing can be reversed to use on the right side of blade too. ... show more
