These fit perfectly around my son’s waist and they are very soft which he likes. Unfortunately, they go down to almost his ankles so they look more like high waters or capris. I usually have to pull them up past his belly button so they look like somewhat normal shorts.

Bought the size 9-12mo for my 19mo old toddler who is 22lbs and 31” tall. He currently wears size 12mos clothing (size 18mo pajamas) in cat n Jack and carters brands. These shorts fit similar to Carters size 12mos shorts. They are a little loose in the waist on him and a tad long, slightly past the knee, so probably the size 6-9 would fit better, but they aren’t so loose that they fall off and hopefully he will grow into them better this summer. The material is different than I expected (I just expected a mesh jersey material) instead they are the shiny/slippery true basketball shorts type material. Material doesn’t matter to me but just thought I’d point that out. All in all they seem like good shorts for a great price! ... show more

These shorts are extremely nice. Well made, material is perfect for hot days, the waist is stretchy. We got 2T but they are more around 5T in size. We had our older child put them only to see if he could use them, almost! He wears a 5-6t shorts. Going to reorder in a smaller size bc they’re nice!
