This car seat is the perfect width for my small compact car. It still allows two full grown adults to sit in the backseat when it's placed in the middle or even two booster seats on either side. Con: the shoulder straps seem to be placed far apart. They're secure enough that I have no doubt they will keep him in place, but I do wish they had a more narrow placement.
