Updated Review 6-2023: Still loving it! It does "at times". make a noise, but frankly for the quality, (and I am picky about noises!) it doesn't bother me enough to complain. Pretty sure ALL of them make a noise now and then. It is not persistent or I'd be concerned and. Im far from it. I have only had to defrost it on a few occasions (rarely). Freezer still works great, as does the fridge. I LOVE LOVE the way it is designed internally and it is still amazing how much I can fit in there! Has been working for yrs now right in upstairs bedroom on carpet with ZERO issues! If I had to rebuy, Id still pick this one above all the others. I have never needed customer service have not had any reason to. Threw the box out long ago. Going strong for over 3 yrs now! You simply cannot go wrong with this fridge! Ok, I debated buying this product for several wks. its a new product, not a lot of ratings, but good ones for the most part...so then price was on the high side...well, what to do? What got me to buy has NOT been disappointing! 1. Fridge doesn't have those crappy wire rails, where everything slips around, and can storage I have zero use for! Nope it has the wonderful REAL racks! Yes! My large and medium size water bottles of Propel stay all nice and neatly in the door and even in a shelf I have some racked in! I love it! And I can put my meds inside, and my snacks, and if I want pretty much everything for sandwiches, left overs etc. I was determined to NOT have those crappy wire things for the door, and those stupid can holders, who in world wants to be stuck having what they do NOT want or use, when dealing with limited space to begin with? PROBLEM IS SOLVED! 2. The SEPARATE FREEZER that actually FREEZES! This thing is HUGE!! You REALLY can put an entire bag of ice in there! I however use a gallon zip lock bag, put my ice in there from the downstairs fridge ice maker, and am good to go! This is being used in our master bed room, in the sitting area right by the recliner. I even have my Ben and Jerry's in the freezer with no issues. Well its not "frozen Hard" but its frozen and perfectly eatable! :) If you need a freezer you gotta get this fridge freezer! It's really a miniature regular fridge like you'd have anywhere, just small. But for a mini fridge, well its HUGE in SPACE!! I am not exaggerating! This is the absolute best mini fridge I have ever owned and I have owned several. 3. The light inside is perfect, just like a reg fridge! 4. The doors have the quiet sound you expect when closing a fridge that has a good seal and is made of quality! 5. It is QUIET! Yes, there are times I do hear it click on, but as sensitive as I am to sounds, (and I am) it has never bothered me. Its about 9 ft from the flat screen tv on the wall, and I do have surround sound in the bedroom, so I can't say that the sound is not somewhat drowned out when the tv is on. I want to point that out because I really do understand the issues some of us have with sensory (sound), and I should make sure to note this for those of you who also have same. That said, Its not something that I've ever noticed often. When I don't have the tv on or music playing, I am not disrupted when I am going to sleep tho. BUT that may not be the same for all people. I do think it would be extremely RARE for this fridge to be a issue in regard to sound tho. And if you don't have it in a bedroom you won't even need to be concerned, its truly quite over all by far! Just now and then I do hear the compressor. Rare tho!! 6. Shelves do adjust, and are quality and well. made!! I cannot imagine having better space inside this fridge by any other fridge. You simply move as you desire! And the door space is plenty spacious as I already mentioned! I have zero issues with fitting whatever I want in here. I have to say, I don't have it full, and probably never will, I have it up stairs due to a spinal injury and my wife and I decided I should do this so I can be more independent and not fighting the stairs when its night time and I want ice added to my propel, or I want ice cream to snack on when watching tv. and then some meds that need to be refridged can be right up stairs end of night, Im not going back down stairs to do these things. if we end up later going to a one story home, I will still want this in my man cave ha! Perfect! I have only had it about a month. It was easy to set up, but they said to keep it seated for I believe it was like 8 hrs or something (in the instructions) BEFORE plugging in for use. I sat it up and left it a full 24 hrs and then plugged in. I have no real idea why, but I figured better safe than sry! Warranty, Set Up, an General Info! There was ONE 3 inch scratch on it. And I had to laugh. It was done Right where the line was for the plastic thin wrapping layer they put on the ENTIRE FRIDGE!! THE ONLY, ONE and ONLY place it could have even gotten scratched and somehow, it managed to do it! Its not super noticeable, and sure not something worth sending it back for! But I do want to note that this did happen. Also that thin sheer plastic wrapping stuff, ugh ugh ugh for taking it off! BUT again as bad as that is to deal with, worse would be the damage that could have been without it! So you take your time and just work it off! They really packed this thing WELL with VERY High Quality Smooth THICK FOAM, in several fitted pieces, and SMARTLY done!! They did not go cheap on how its shipped!! I kept the box for about the 30 days I assume was reasonable to test. If you don't have "box" it came in they will NOT accept the return if needed! I I do hope this review helps others, decide if this is a fit for them. No I am not in anyway related to anyone with this company. Like most of you, I was searching high and low for the RIGHT fridge with the shelving a door racks that I really wanted, and was willing to pay for. For this price, YEP its actually worth every penny!! If this lasts me a few yrs. I am fine! If it last longer (and I do hope so), then its a Awesome bargain! If it only lasts lets say 2-3 yrs I like it so much so far, I'd buy it again! Absolutely! Now Im going to head up stairs, and have me some Ben and Jerrys with a nice Netfiix show or something! Yes, loving this fridge!! PS I forgot to mention the separate door on the freezer, A MUST and you'll soon find out why! I accidentally left the fridge open the other night, was a middle of the night water run, and I just didn't push close enough. Wife found it open and told me about it. Man was I glad that the freezer was sealed! My IceCream would have totaled out! Oops! ...not to mention the bag of ice that would have melted! Hey, if you have the money to get this, and the space, do it! I can't imagine any issues with this quality! And then enjoy!!

The fridge is good overall, but the space between shelves not so great, I think if you are looking for a small and nice moderate fridge this is it, otherwise I think you need to consider another one that fits more groceries and everything in overall.

I got to say this refrigerator is the exact size I needed in my cabin. It holds everything that I need to keep cold and frozen. A perfect fit for me. Plugged this fridge in and it never worked from day 1. Tried several times to contact customer support but they could not get an email to my address for some reasons. So after four months of waiting for a reply I finally get one and it says they are sorry but the warranty expired and they would give a 25% discount on a new unit, but no refund or replacement! Funny how a company like this is still in business. Contacted AMAZON and they replied that the item was out of warranty , by four days, and they would do nothing either....BOO!!! BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM EITHER OF THESE MONEY GRUBBING COMANIES! THEY DO NOT VALUE YOU AS A CUSTOMER AND WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A WATER COOLER, LIKE HOME DEPOT!!!

I wish I had bought this long ago. It's so convenient to have the Safeplace fridge on our 2nd floor for beverages, ice and some snacks. This model works and looks great (black). Freezer and refrigerator sections keep everything well. I also really like that this has a little more interior space than standard minis.
