Setup was a breeze. Before doing anything, the device wanted to verify authenticity of the hardware wallet. Device showed QR code on the screen which I used my phone to scan. It directed me to a site and entered 6 digit code on the wallet in to my phone and it said it was authentic. and my phone displayed QR code which i used my wallet to scan using its built in camera. It gave me option to start new wallet or recover wallet. This is my first one so i chose Start New Wallet After doing so it made me pick 12,18,24 mnemonic I wrote it down on to the paper and Wallet wanted me to confirm that I had it by pickin right word out of 5 selection one by one Lastly Set my pin 6-12 number and gave my wallet a name and i was done! App and Wallet setup was easy and i've transferred all my Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Ether to the wallet. It looks like the Box design was changed! and device came pre-updated to the latest version! Box seal shows sign of tempering if removed It's very cheap!, easy to use, and has built in Camera. And has iPhone App!(main reason i didn't get trezor) little Con is that the Screen is Fingerprint Magnet and I am considering putting carbon fiber sticker skin for this. Se descarga la bateria cuando se deja de usar y al momento su carga se tarda mucho en completar su carga siendo un dispositivo liviano y ligero deberia cargarse rapido pero no es asi mas de 4 horas para su carga completa ahora nose si sea porque lo compre desde aqui o si ya viene asi desde la propia fabrica The battery discharges when it is stopped using and at the moment its charge takes a long time to complete its charge, being a light and light device it should charge quickly but it is not like that, more than 4 hours for a full charge now I do not know if it is because I bought it here or if it already comes like this from the factory ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great little wallet I was a little worried about ordering from a third-party, but the hologram seal from SafePal was not broken and the authenticating process checked out perfectly. The SafePal S1 has great security and tons of options can’t recommend it enough.

The media could not be loaded. Update: After finally getting ahold of customer support they told me they would send me out a replacement but wanted me to send the old one back, I agreed and then the games began.. they wanted me to do price checks for them on shipping and I did but the prices weren't good enough I guess so they told me to check other places, after telling them I simply wanted to get this process over and not do the footwork for them they then notified me that I could contact Amazon for a replacement.. After contacting Amazon for the replacement Amazon decides to tell me that their replacement window is closed and they can't do anything for em they can't even contact the seller's and I must go back to SafePal. Long story short you are better of going elsewhere to get a crypto wallet because there is some scam bs going on with this company and it's just not cool. I have nothing but a brick laying here that they can't even explain what happened to it but they want to play tag with each other instead of fixing the problem. The device was pulled out of storage and refuses to charge, the device reset itself and kept giving a -502 error while trying to recover the wallet.. After getting into upgrade mode I downloaded the firmware and attempted to update the wallet and the upgrade failed and gave a -71&-91 error code. I've searched their website and they have nothing about, the discord couldn't help and customer service hasn't responded with two support tickets sent. I looked online and noticed that it's a common problem and no one can figure it out... I honestly feel I should have just bought a more reliable one and would recommend others get one elsewhere and save yourself the headache. ... show more
