I love this rug - quality, color, design! I do have one complaint. The width of this rug needed to be 9 feet for it to be centered in our living room, so I ordered the 9โ x 12โ. The width is NOT 9 ft. The actual size is 8 ft. 8 in. - losing 4 inches of the rug is disappointing.

I just got my rug today. I ordered it hoping the reviews about it being more blue were true - and they are! I love the blues in this rug, but the picture on Amazon doesn't match the real life color at all. It's not the most plush rug, but it's not scratchy or or hard. I'm using it on a hard floor and I don't feel the need for a rug mat (fortunately).

This rug is really beautiful. The colors are much brighter and prettier in person than the pictures. However, it is definitely blue and tan/brown and no grey at all, which is perfect for what I wanted. It's soft and has had little or no shedding. I did take one star off because it has a really strong odor. Not sure if it will eventually fade, but I will try baking soda to see if it helps.

I've had a bad experience with Saravieh rugs before. I wasn't going to purchase from them, again, but finances meant I couldn't afford a more expensive wool rug. THE GOOD: *The pattern is beautiful, the colors are perfect. *It ties our living room together, exactly as we wanted. *100% wool. *Price. THE BAD: *If you look closely, there are gaps where you can see the backing between the stitches. We were able to manipulate the wool to hide the gaps, but these shouldn't exist. I don't care how cheap the rug is. *The rug is not the 8' x 10' it claims. Our last rug was 8' x 10', and this rug was replacing the previous one, using the existing wool underlay. Unfortunately, since this rug is only 7.5' x 9.75' (with edges that aren't straight) we had to trim the wool underlay to fit beneath this new rug. *The edges aren't straight. It noticeably slopes at the corners. Thankfully the uneven edges are hidden beneath sofas, but as with my previous experience with this rug company, the attention to detail is sorely lacking. If you can afford better, buy better. Otherwise, these rugs are okay, but adjust your expectations to avoid being disappointed.

Its just been a week since we started using this carpet, so I canโt really comment on how durable it is. Initially I was a little shocked to see so much blue in the carpet, as the picture was more like a light sea green color. But this carpet is all about shades of blue. It took some time to get used to the color but now I love it as it uplifted my rather brown house. The carpet is not soft and more on the firm side, so it will take some time to get used to. It is woven well and I didnt see any defects in the pattern. The best part was after setting the carpet, their werenโt any rolled edges and it straightaway laid flat. If you donโt vaccum it, you will keep seeing small threads shredding from it. But I think thats normal for any new carpet. Overall Iโm very satisfied with the purchase. Pros: Firm, sturdy Cons: Could have been more thick and soft

The rug is great, but it's actually much bolder in color and design than how it's portrayed in the pictures. In reality, the white is very bright and the colors are much more vivid (bright blues and cream). It's a busier (and more interesting) rug than what appears on Amazon, which looks more grey and muted, but still a great rug. It's just important to know that before you purchase so it fits your design. Quality is great! No weird smell. Feels thick and natural underfoot. Overall, a great rug, just a little louder than expected.

99.8% of this rug is very nice. See pics for 2" hole poorly patched and slyly hidden by stick-on care label. Amazon gave us 45% rebate when we reported this. We are not sure we'd shop with this seller again. We took the discount only because we moved all the furniture, unwrapped it, laid out the pad and then the rug, and replaced the furniture, and don't want to deal with undoing it all, taking the rug to return it and waiting for a new (hopefully not damaged) rug. Disappointing.

Beautiful, soft, excellent quality... but created mountains of fuzzballs! I don't think they properly "finished" it... seems like a final cut of the pile was done, but it wasn't properly cleaned off.. couldn't see the fuzz - all looked perfect when I put it on the floor. But over time, the fuzzballs arrived. Did a couple vacuums and that's cut down on it (it's not in a high traffic area), but I still see fuzzballs now and again! strange. But for the price I paid, and how perfectly it fits the space and decor of my room, it works for me.
