This costs very little compared to most rugs, so if you are realistic about that you're less likely to be disappointed. The first clue is that it arrives folded (not rolled) in a modest-sized package. It's thin and flimsy, more like a mat than a proper rug. After a week it's still showing the folds (see pic). The other thing you might find useful to know is that despite the foregoing I have ordered a second one of these. It works well in my dog's room, which is where she sleeps. I am only giving this rug a one star because I have to. We at first loved it, but with life and with animals u have to vacuum it. We vacuum our family room twice a day. This rug CAN NOT stand up to everyday life. Its been on the floor for roughly 2 weeks and EVERY time we vacuum the rug gets pulled up. (Yes the vacuum is on the right setting) so NOW when someone here vacuums we have to have scissors by us because we know strings from the rug will be pulled up and need to be cut ✂️ off. Its really frustrating. You cant even do a fast vacuum without it coming apart and needing cut off. So if you have a busy house with animals DONT BUY THIS! Save yourself the headache and buy a different rug. But if you're gonna just put this down and never walk on it lol then by all means go for it. Worst buy for us! Sad really.... If you look at the pictures that has happened 7-8 times. Just keep scrolling, there's better rugs out there. ✌🏼 ... show more

I bought this carpet runner because I wanted to move a chest of drawers up a narrow staircase. It was too heavy to carry it up and too awkward and heavy to walk it up and I almost half carried half pushed it up from the side until I was defeated by the even narrower last few feet. So I determined to pull it up with a rope and put something between the wood and the steps... hence... This runner was the right length and the right width and the right price that Jack built and it did the job and when I was finished I didn't roll it up for next time by left it out in the narrow hallway at the top of the narrow stairs in the narrow house... well, you get the picture. It looks pretty nice on the wooden floor so that's a bonus after buying it for this purely utilitarian purpose and leaves it handy for next time. So I don't mean three stars as a negative review, just a neutral one: it's good enough and it's attractive enough and I'm pretty sure it's durable enough but I can't get excited enough to give it four or five stars, and I can't work up that excitement for the price, either, which was fair but not low enough for me to gloat to my friends about what a bargain I found. Fairly priced, fairly functional, fairly attractive: It's welcome to work as a runner since it's there already and unobtrusive, but if I didn't have a special project in mind I wouldn't have bought it. I give it a solid neutral. It get's the job done, though as a pure decoration I'd keep my money for something finer. ... show more
