I had horrific sciatic pain and am always fearful it will come back. Since then I have some mild lower back pain and this really helps to alleviate it. I don’t wear it all the time because I feel it may weaken the muscles, but wearing it for short periods is enough. It doesn’t show when wearing a looser t-shirt but does give me a slight muffin top. Not bad though.

About 2 months ago I bought a house....with lots of stairs. Shortly after moving in I noticed persistent hip/low back pain and stiffness. I started with the usual suspects...anti-inflammatories, rest, stretching, heating pad. Nothing worked and the pain continued to increase despite limiting my activities. Then, to add insult to injury a few weeks later, I fell backwards while playing volleyball with some friends landing on my hip/butt. From then, the hip pain became almost unbearable. With some trial and error I determined my SI joint/SI ligaments to be the source of the pain. The pain was particularly bad while sitting for long periods or sleeping on my right side and my work and my sleep were suffering. On a whim I decided to try an SI joint belt to see if it alleviated any discomfort. This belt has been seriously amazing and a life saver! After a few days I was no longer needing meds during my work day while wearing the belt and I could sleep more comfortably through the night even on my right side. Within one week I felt better than I had in more than 2 months and was even able to do a light routine at the gym. My measurements fell right at the max for the regular size, and I wanted it to be supportive and not too loose so I opted for the regular. The belt fits snugly but is comfortable enough to wear under clothing all day. If you are between the regular and XL, however you might want to consider the XL. It even comes with a little guide to hip exercises. Given that my hip pain went treated improperly for several weeks, I will give this more time to see if it completely resolves all discomfort but I am super grateful I gave this a try!

Does all the things as advertised. It is a bit wider than others. Because of that, the hook/loop portion irritates my skin if I wear next to my skin. Also, I tried wearing it when I went through airport security. While it does not have metal, it seems to have set off the sensors and required a hand screening.

Ok so I didn't want to believe it and after reading all the reviews I took a chance. I've been suffering immensely from SI joint pain that shoots down into my right leg so bad I cannot stand or walk more than 5 Mins without crying for the past 2 months. Nothing has worked and I haven't been able to receive a proper diagnosis. I was beginning to feel so helpless with a pain level of 10! I JUST got this belt about an hour ago and put it on and I am not kidding you this thing works!!! I have been able to walk, stand, and play with my granddaughter without feeling the excruciating pain that makes me just want to give up. Although I know I still have some healing to do I can honestly say so far...this belt has given me my life back and my pain level is so much more tolerable. This is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm going to keep wearing it and hopefully see more improvement in time. If you suffer from SI joint pain that shoots down into your leg PLEASE buy this! Please do yourself a favor and get the relief you deserve.
