I’ll admit, I ran into a few hiccups simply because I didn’t read the directions all the way through—classic me. When I reached out to customer support, they were incredibly helpful and responded quickly, which made the whole experience even better. What really blew me away is how versatile this machine is. You can design and cut custom stickers, make T‑shirts, print greeting cards, and tackle all kinds of creative projects you might never have imagined doing at home. I have been a Cricut user for years, and when I saw this I wanted to try it to compare it to my Maker. This is smaller than a Maker, at only 8.5 inches wide versus the 12" wide of my Maker. It is wider than the Joy, which is a huge plus. I really ended up liking the medium size of this machine, it takes up a smaller footprint and handles most things I want to cut out anyway. It slices right through vinyl and iron on vinyl, as easy as my other machines. It seems to be made well, and has top quality parts. I like the change of software, and not feeling forced to join the monthly club like for my Cricut. The only downside that I have found to this wonderful die cutting machine is that I can't seem to find mats that fit it, or blades. The only mats advertised directly from the manufacturer are for the smaller size machines, nothing in the 8.5 size. I'm hoping the machine is just too new to have mats available yet, and that they will be out soon, but it is annoying. In researching, I believe I can cut down my current mats from other machines to try to use, but that's a bit dicey. I have also read in my research that the Cricut Joy blade and housing fits in this machine, but I haven't tried that directly. Overall, this die cutting machine wins points for being just the right size for most projects, is highly convenient and portable, and cuts exceptionally well. The downsides are the lack of replacement cutting mats and blades. I would recommend this machine, on the hope of replacements being made available soon and/or modifying other manufacturers' accessories.

I have been into diecut machines and software for almost a decade now. When I saw this machine, I had to give it a try. First off, this machine is beautifully made, solid construction, feels great in hand and it is very heavy. The hidden storage in the open tray is brilliant. Can keep the weeding tool, marker, etc. inside, stays nice and closed. Now the machine itself is heavy but so small, first looks feels like it should be unable to take 8 inch paper/material but it does, great design. The machine is the best part about this, now the reason I gave this 3 stars out of 5 is the software. This is one of the worst software's I've ever used. It requires you to register just to import your svg files. Ok fine, no big deal but the way it does it is so clunky. It doesn't say "import" it says "upload" which I don't feel too safe about uploading my designs to their cloud. There has to be a way to use this offline. The UI of the software is also so slow and most of it doesn't make sense. This is far by one of the worst design/diecut software's i've ever used. Again, the machine is amazing, great build and design plus compact, the bad software design/mandatory registration to just import from computer is ridiculous. Great machine, terrible software experience.

This vinyl cutter is perfect for beginners and easy to set up right out of the box. It cuts cleanly through vinyl and cardstock and works great for stickers and small craft projects. The machine is compact but powerful and the starter bundle includes everything needed to get started. A great option for DIY projects and creative work at home.
