I am advanced user for several cutting machines including the Cricut Explorer Air and the Brother Scanncut SSDX85. I was very impressed how well the Likcut S41 machine worked right out of the box. I was able to easily download the app to my iPad. I had the option of registering an account or skipping to the workspace. I skipped registration and to my understanding, you are limited to certain features, but this did not impact my ability to cut the vinyl text that I needed. I was also about to save to my iPad locally. Unit is more compact that other cutting machines — for example the width only goes up to 8 inches. For most causal users, this is more than enough room; For advanced users, over a 12 inches width is usually preferable. I like the size of the machine because it can sit nicely on my desk without taking over the entire space. The front panels fold up when you are not using it. Whichever space you decide to place it on, you will just need to make sure to have about 12 inches behind the machine to allow the card and/or material to pass through. The unit is also light enough to take on the go, or move room to room as needed. Price: Very affordable and about 50% less that the other vinyl cutter machines. Again, if you are a beginner user or have a young child just getting started, this machine is the way to go. Retails for around $150 US dollars and bundle came with machine, sample vinyls, a power adapter, a USB C connector, marker, blade, standard grip cutting mat, and weeding tool. That alone is worth the cost! Speed: Unit cuts comparatively in speed to my other vinyl cutter; however, the sound can be a little loud but not obnoxious! I was able to cut a 7 x 3 inches width vinyl iron-on material in less than one minute. Software: It is very similar to Cricut’s software and offers a wide variety of features, such as offset, welding, attach, group. The software can be a little glitchy from time to time — for example, when searching through fonts, the screen wouldn’t always refresh every available font. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and look forward to testing out other more advanced projects such as sticker cutting and drawing using the marker tool. I would recommend this unit to those people looking to get started in the vinyl cutting arena. The units come in several different colors which are super fun! They also have different bundles available to try out.

A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across a product I just had to try for myself: the LIKOUT S41 Vinyl Printer. After using it, I can honestly say it was worth every dollar. The shipping alone impressed me—I ordered it and it arrived just two days later. The printer came neatly assembled, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I’ll admit, I ran into a few hiccups simply because I didn’t read the directions all the way through—classic me. When I reached out to customer support, they were incredibly helpful and responded quickly, which made the whole experience even better. What really blew me away is how versatile this machine is. You can design and cut custom stickers, make T‑shirts, print greeting cards, and tackle all kinds of creative projects you might never have imagined doing at home. The combination of the machine and its software opens up a whole world of possibilities. Overall, I give this machine a solid 5 out of 5 stars. The build quality is excellent—not too heavy, not too light—and the size is just right. It’s a fantastic piece of equipment.

I love this product and it is so easy to use! I love that it comes with a phone app while some of the designs are paid. I think there’s a large variety of designs that are free in are super cute. You can also create your own designs easily. The machine cuts quickly and comes with a few items as a starter kit. I think this is a great machine for how much it cost and it’s a budget, friendly version of the cricket. I like that it’s in between a cricket joy and a large sized cricket. It’s a good medium size. The Bluetooth connection is super easy to connect. The screen that comes on the machine is cute and has a little face. The buttons are super self-explanatory and the instructions were helpful. Made a few designs already of the ones that came with the app, the plan to also create my own sticker sheets using art that I’ve made overall I definitely recommend this product.

The cutting machine was fine it was the software that made it not work out and depending on what device you use there are limitations and not much information online. Also sometimes random Chinese instructions would pop up and my printer stated it was a security risk. Returned immediately.

I Love Love Love this machine, this is my second Likcut I also have the Likcut Glee, which is the exact same as Circuit Joy for half the price. I see complaints about the software but use a little PATIENCE and look at some youtube videos and you will learn a lot. I have had the Glee (which all the accessories' are interchangeable with the Circuit Joy) for over a year and I'm still discovering new and beautiful things these machines can create. Rome wasn't built in a day and learning their software can't be done in a minute, but the patience to learn is worth the time. These little machine can do a big job while being small enough to sit on your desk. The software offers a large amount of free images/fonts/designs to choose from but if you need more it's only $47 for a year subscription. I'm happy with what is free. I found downloading images etc is all a learning process but once you get the knack you're off to the races. The S41 makes stickers that can be printed out than cut on this machine. It cuts lots of different materials , just choose your material in the software and the machine automatically sets itself for the proper cut . Cuts from copy paper to foam. If I didn't think these products were worth the money I wouldn't have invested in the second one. P.S I also own a Brothers Scan N Cut If you like creating/copying your own images to cut out this is the way to go . I've have mine for almost 10 yrs and its still going strong. Hope all of this helps.

i am a cricut user and wanted to check this out to compare. it worked great for simple cuts like making labels for bins. the app is okay but a little clunky to work in. i will stick with cricut for the more complicated projects like layering but if you just need a cutting machine for basic stuff, this one was good. the machine connected immediately to my phone and the steps were easy to follow for making and cutting my labels. the machine was a little loud and slow compared to the cricut but not a deal breaker in my opinion.

The machine is a solid build just like the Cricut but the main thing that makes it better is the software is easy to navigate. I have otherwise spent literally hours in frustration on Cricut not cutting a thing. I might say,the images Cricut has are cuter and if I was able to use them,I’d choose Cricut every time but as they say a bird in the hand is worth 5 in the bush. I can cut out the Likcut images easily. Thank you Likcut! Also Likcut includes a cord that will connect directly to your computers USB port. No more messages from Cricut that you are no longer connected to your WiFi via Bluetooth ….or the one Cricut likes best…not enough memory.
