If you're tired of the pump up variety of garden sprayers, get this one! I've tried a number of garden pumpers, and none of them lasted very long, even though I flushed them every time. Then you have to be constantly pumping them up to get a decent volume. If you have any other Ryobi battery products, this is another one in their line up; use the same battery. If not, get a battery and charger, you won't be disappointed. It keeps the flow at the same rate, and you can regulate the pattern just like in a traditional pumper. I'm thinking this is the last garden sprayer I'll ever buy. Highly recommended. ... show more

This was the 2nd sprayer I purchased. I have now purchased a 4 gallon back sprayer and a 2 gallon sprayer that came with a 2nd tank, tank strap, backpack carrier for the spare, battery and a charger. We began watching electric sprayers a few years ago when they really started being advertised. I've been a commercial exterminator for almost 27 years and had my doubts. We've have our 1st one in service for 4 months with no issues. They put out a predictable amount of product without continuously pumping the air cylinder. Keep the siphon filters clean and an extra battery handy and your in business. Thank you too the folks at Ryobi for creating tools that continually show imagination and , in my opinion continue to evolve in meaningful lasting ways. FYI..... We're picking up another 2 gallon setup in the next 30 days. We're just that impressed ... show more

    • Small tank capacity
This sprayer gives you NO PUMP spraying , but the ONE GALLON capacity requires frequent tank refills for large jobs . After a day of spraying ( 5 tanks for me ) the battery recharges completely in less than 15 minutes . It seems to have very little battery drain when used ? Well built for the price . The spray stream is comparable to a hand pump up sprayer and will adjust from a mist to a full stream easily . If you want a NO PUMP sprayer for use around the home or garden this in my opinion is a good choice . It is not comparable to a commercial sprayer . ... show more

    • Broke After Six Weeks, Seller Said Out of Warranty
On my third usage the tank suddenly lost pressure. I was a little low on liquid so I filled it up again. Still no pressure. I changed batteries. Still no pressure. Then I disassembled each piece to see if there was a leak. No leak, no pressure. During the process, the handle broke from the wand. The wand is stainless steel, but the connector is very cheap plastic. I owned this thing for 6 weeks and tried to return it. The seller would not take it back and worse yet Amazon supported them. Has to be more than a 6 week warranty. So I called Ryobi. They told me I should have bought it at Home Depot. So I guess I am stuck with it. I will see if Home Depot will at least tell me why the tank cannot hold any pressure. ... show more

    • A perfect solution for a home job.
What a relief to be able to spray a smaller area without the hassle of a large container and repeated pumping to keep up the pressure. It worked beautifully and requires minimal storage space.

good Ryobi quality and it came with a charger and battery, didn't realize that when i ordered it so it was a free gift to me. i love all the 18 volt tools and have had good luck with all of them and adding this one to my happy list. works great for spraying bug killer around the yard and shop, the wand has brass tips and will go from a mist to a stream. no pumping. ... show more

Second unit in a row that after only 10 months and about 5 uses..... stopped working. No reason, no warning, just boom..... push the button, nothing. Fresh batteries both times.
