Description

The EGO POWER+ 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer delivers up to 350 PSI for a powerful and even spray, no pumping required. The cordless backpack sprayer features an adjustable pressure dial on the wand for easy pressure and flow control with a maximum flow rate up to 0.6 GPM. Four nozzles are included for a variety of applications from herbicides and pesticides to fertilizers. Premium back pads and waist support straps allow comfortable use over extended periods. Its 4-gallon tank is translucent for visibility to the fill level. The EGO POWER+ 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer is compatible with all EGO POWER+ ARC Lithium™ batteries (available separately) to deliver Power Beyond Belief™.

It's from EGO, what more needs to be said. That said, I've been using this unit for nearly 2 years and haven't had a single negative issue. As the unit is used at least monthly, that would I would consider it highly durable. It's easy to use, and maintenance is next to nothing, just rinse clean and dry the nozzles. I use a 5 amp hour battery and it provides more than enough power to spray the 4 gallons of fertilizer. In fact the battery is way less than half discharged. In terms of weight, yes it's a little heavy when it full, but you are lifting 32 pounds of water. Empty the overall weight, with battery, is more than acceptable. If one is concerned about weight you could always go with a smaller battery option. Definitely worth the money and a very good buy, as with all EGO products. ... show more

    • Yes it's a bit heavy but worth its weight
Like any backpack sprayer this is heavy when full. I dont use it as a backpack, I strap it to the seat of my mower and ride around to do the spraying. It has plenty of power, hasn't clogged once and runs forever on one 6ah battery. The larger capacity and the fact that I don't have to manually pump it make it perfect for pesticide application on the 5 acres I apply to. Usually about 5 refills on the tank does what I need, and runs about 1 bar down on the battery's meter. At a fraction of the cost of 1 application by a commercial company, this will save me a fortune on my applications. ... show more

    • Excellent sprayer but watch the weight!
Not for the weak! With a large battery and 4 gallons of liquid, this thing is heavy. I am a 5' 11" 265 lbs. former offensive lineman (yes I am a senior citizen). With that said, this thing is the bomb! The spray rate and controls are excellent. It has a momentary spray lever and a lock for continuous spraying. The different nozzles provide a nice variation in spray patterns. The backpack strap system is very nice. Weight is the only issue and that is a matter of physics. I would recommend using a smaller battery and a gallon or so of liquid on the first try to see how it works for you and adjust from there. ... show more

This has worked great so far. I’ve used it with chloride cleaner and weed sprays with no problems. It doesn’t use a lot of battery during normal use.

    • I go backpack sprayer
I was a little leery about spending the money for this backpack sprayer, but I will tell you what is the best money I have spent. The spray works very well. I would definitely recommend it. It is a little bit heavy but once you get used to it it’s not bad definitely has a lot of power.

    • Great sprayer
Have used this several times and it does a great job spraying. Very easy to use and I like the fact that you can lock the sprayer so you don’t have to keep squeezing it the entire time. The amount of pressure is adjustable. The battery seems to last quite a long time.
