Did 1/4 acre lot on one battery self-propelled, and still had juice left. Did half the front lawn on what was left the next week. Battery charged up fully within 1 1/2 hours. Very impressed so far.

    • Cuts nice until it don't want too.
After first 1/2 acre the motor was still running but the blades had just stopped without saying anything, with 3 charge indicators glowing. I rebooted it, just about all (cheap?) electronics like a re-boot, inserted the batteries again and the blades started again..same batteries. Returned it to Home Depot same price there by the way. Does cut very nice otherwise. I will look for another brand. Too bad this matches all my other Ryobi Lawn tools. ... show more

Arrived today. Box was badly damaged with packaging tape holding it together. Mower came out of the box with the Self Propel Levers BROKEN OFF the handle. I'd keep it if the Levers could be replaced. Returning it for a refund tomorrow.

I purchased not on Amazon but I'm on here all the time and bought two extra batteries here. All I have to say is wow! I have used multiple mowers over the years and this thing is the best mower I have ever used. It cuts amazing and with the self propelled rear wheels it drives itself even in rough high grass. I'm sure it won't last forever but will buy it again in a heartbeat. So good just bought another one for my grandfather. ... show more

    • Poor quality, even worse warranty department
The start button on my stopped is malfunctioning. The blades spin every time I grab the handle. (the levers attached to the handle start the blades spinning) It did not function like that when it was new. I paid $400 for it in 2021. Ryobi told me that I have to take it to a service center (85 miles away) or pay for shipping. Shipping is well over $100. I called the service center. He told me that it could take 2 months for them to fix it or I could pay $50 and get it fixed right away. WTF is that? Bottom line, the quality is poor and the warranty doesn't really help me much. As far as the product functionality goes; the machine is underpowered. It doesn't have the blade speed to make clean consistent cuts. Electric is convenient, but I wish I would have bought a gas mower. I bought this one because it was the only mower Home Depot had in stock during the supply chain shortage during the Covid summer of 2021. If you do go electric, figure out how to try one before you buy one, and spend some money on a nice one. I would like to try the Milwaukee mower. ... show more
