One battery was bad....that's the second battery issue I've had with this company.... I returned this Item and its been received for 72 hours (+) ....And still no reply and no signs of a refund. Not happy with this company. Can't see how I can give more then a 1 star.... Amazon' customer services (CS) just blew me off no customer services, ( It takes 3 seconds to GIVE your money from a credit card to buy something from Amzon but takes 2 weeks to get a refund) LOL..Sad but true!!! Needed for a very small yard at a home we clean. The owners were moving, and going to rent to another individual that will retain our services. The individual stated she was having a hard time finding someone to cut a yard so small. Since we were going to do a move-out deep clean before she occupies the residence, we wanted to cut the yard as a bonus, but it was going to be tight on time. I don't know if I just got some bad ones, but batteries last 30 minutes at best.

Caveat: We did not purchase this item on Amazon. This product is okay for small yards, though the cut quality isn't quite as good as I like--though I could probably improve that with some blade sharpening. It went together easily and rolls well enough. But where I was impressed with this little mower was when I had to cut down a clover cover crop (to bust up some clay enough to garden with next year) that was standing 10-12 inches right after a hard rain--about 600+ square feet using the mulching plug (to till everything under for green manure). I had to make frequent stops to bounce out the mulched clover binding up the blade, but I only had to make one pass to get the clover down to a height manageable for my little electric tiller. It took 2.5 fully charged batteries to get the job done. My old gas mower would have had a time of it! This isn't the best solution for larger yards by any means, but that's not its purpose. Unlike many people who commented here, I didn't find the batteries to be short on power for the mower and while the box was beat up by the shipping company, the mower parts survived well.     • Buyer Beware: Reconditioned for New Prices
Buyer beware - Amazon now uses the term Renewed to camouflage that these are Factory Reconditioned units which the label on the box arriving at your door more clearly & accurately states. Further, the batteries themselves are etched with an abbreviation for Reconditioned. Anyone knows that a rechargeable battery cannot be reconditioned; after its first discharge it is ... used. Still, my Amazon receipt states, "Condition: New". I am very disappointed at such a merchandise slight of hand. Bad policy, poor practice. ... show more

I will use this with it's limitations be ause the cost to return is ridiculous. But it DOES NOT RUN as long as advertised. If it's not too hot out, maybe half as long!!!
