Wow.... These things are just beautiful! I was thrilled from the moment I opened up the box! The way they packaged them was perfect for the shipping process and they all arrived in one piece. I got them for my birthday, and I have NOT been able to stop obsessing over them! I have been using them for worship, and it's a little different than how they're traditionally used, as I tend to play them more as instruments, but singing along with these to give glory to Jesus has just been something I didn't realize I was missing in my life... the way my body has to ebb and flow to keep the bowls singing, and the rhythm and vibrations are just so soothing and relaxing I can't even describe it. These bowls are bringing me great joy and peace, and I love them and am grateful to the Lord for them! That being said, I admire the quality of them greatly. The case is perfect for carrying them safely, and I would honestly feel comfortable traveling with them often. It barely took me long to get the hang of it, but I can unpack and set them up or pack them away in like, 5 minutes. Easy peasy! The price is totally fair, as similar sets cost $799, and ones without a traveling case cost $1599+. I got the black ones, and they really are striking... The sound quality is great! I used a tuner app and when I set the A at 432hz, they are all PERFECT and right within the margin of perfect frequency. I'm more than content. 😌 I will mention, however, that I ordered an additional wand and mallet set, because the hollow wand started to peel off shortly after using them... I fixed it with super glue, but I find that the new wands just feel better. I am very pleased with my purchase, and I know that as long as I take good care of them they will last me a long time... I have big plans for them, and so I really don't see any downside to purchasing these, especially if you're a beginner like me. These are a musicians dream.... I somehow feel complete now. I recommend these to anyone who is trying to get into singing bowls. I don't think you'll be disappointed, so go ahead! Buy them! And more importantly, ENJOY them, because these singing bowls are more impressive and have profoundly enhanced my life beyond what I thought when I bought them, and I'm sure that you'll be blessed by them to. This set of crystal bowls is perfect in every way! They are in tune with each other as stated in the description. The frequency deviation for each pitch really is less than ±10 cents. The bowls are made of authentic quartz crystal. On a visual level, they are beautiful, seamless and hold the light softly. Their sound is brilliant, pure and resonant. Mallet and strikers allow you to play with the volume of resonance, adding soft harmonic tones from other bowls while playing one bowl consistently. Moving the striker around the rim of one bowl, then moving to another in a figure eight so that the resonance overlaps also creates lovely harmonics. The set is easy to travel with too! The two cases are sturdy and easy to travel with; easy to pack the bowls into, keeping them safe from damage. All was impeccably packed for the shipment. For the price, this set is tops in quality and affordability. I shopped around. I have been offering a healing sound immersion with this set for a few weeks now for an organization that provides group practices for healing trauma, addictions, authentic connection, self-worth, etc. Everyone who's participated has given wonderful feedback! And its healing for me too. This lovely set is truly the best of music/vibrational instruments I've ever gifted myself with; alongside of my harmonium. Absolutely beautiful sound quality! The tone is very clear, calming and exactly at 432 Hz as described. The vibration feels very pure — perfect for meditation and sound healing. The bowl arrived well protected, no scratches or defects. The mallet and case are great quality too.
