I was very surprised by the price on these running boards, so I ordered them for my truck, and they look great. I really love them. The install was supposed to be easy, but (through no fault of the manufacturer of these running boards), I had a very difficult time with most of the hardware. If it wasn't for the fact that a few of the bolts went in with no trouble, I would have thought I had the wrong size hardware. The truth is that my 6-year-old truck had some corrosion in the threads (despite the plastic plugs), and that caused my 1-hour job to take 6 hours because I was being very careful not to break a bolt off in the truck, as that would have been an even bigger headache. I was a bit confused as to why the running boards came with 4 brackets per board, yet the instructions say to use only 3. I plan to go back and install that 4th bracket anyway.

Considering the price is less than half of what GM charges, these seem pretty great. The brackets are steel and I expect them to rust. Not as sturdy as OEM, but again...these are significantly less expensive.

Running Boards are nice DO NOT TAKE THE SCREWS OUT that come attached to the running board before you put set the board in place. I stood mine up to turn it over and I had to buy a dremel and cut the rail to get those nuts back in!!!!!!
