    • Nice bobbin set.
I got these embroidery floss organizer and bobbin set to store and organize my embroidery floss. It comes with two floss organizer boxes, a bobbin winder, 215 bobbins and floss number stickers. The organizer boxes are decent. Each are divided into 36 slots for floss. I can fit 3 bobbins with full skeins of floss on them in each slot. The divders can be removed to make the slots bigger or to customize space for what you are organizing. The boxes are good not just for embroidery floss but any small craft supplies (beads, washi tape, etc). The boxes are pretty sturdy except for the lids. They are a bit flimsy and come off very easily. They don't attach very securely. The bobbins and bobbin winder are typical quality for what they are. If you have experience with either then these would be about standard. The stickers aren't bad but do not include all of the color numbers for the basic DMC floss. They are definitely useful but I was hoping it would include all 500 numbers. Over all the set is nice and is a great addition to my craft and cross stitch supply storage. ... show more

This set is great, I’m excited to organize my crowded shoe box of embroidery thread! I really like that the little boards are plastic as opposed to cardboard, this makes this set more sustainable and reusable. This set comes with a little winder, which I have never used before but once I got the hang of greatly sped up the process. The only thing I dislike about this (which might be something others like) is that the sticker labels are pre labeled with thread numbers- I would prefer to have blank labels I could fill in myself, but I’m sure there are others that would like the pre labeled stickers. ... show more

    • Lots of ways to store
The smallest space to divide up these organizers gets you a 2"x1" (5 cm x 2.5 cm) space, and you will have 36 slots for anything you store. The grid comes with labels pre-identified to some floss colors, a bunch of different holders for floss, and this winder thing which I have never seen used, so I did not use it, but I am sure to someone with more experience would be really great to have. The dividers come in pairs, so if you want to section off an area, you will have to do two columns at the same time; something to consider when you set up your organization. I can see setting one up for the regular use, and one for the 'current project'. There is enough space, once you settle in and organize to some needles or other cross stitching items for your current work in progress. While most of the organizer is much like a standard tacklebox, the draw is the floss organizer which will keep your floss from hopping around too much, getting lost or tangled. ... show more

    • Sturdy, needs better hinges and clasps
These containers are decent enough for craft storage, or storage for anything that will fit. The dividers are a lil loose and will pull out pretty easily. OK if you like that; not OK if you don't like that. The hinges release easily, too easily, and the latches don't lock easily, so it's a little reverse on functionality, but it's not the worst thing ever.     • Just what I needed to keep my embroidery floss organized
I had a ton of embroidery floss in 3 different gallon-sized plastic bags, and this has helped me to start to organize all that. I love the amount of space this has and the winding machine. I am very happy with this and highly recommend.

This set of boxes is surprising with all the little extras that came along with them. The boxes each include 15 removable tabs so that the columns in each box can be sliced up into smaller spaces. There are two sets of labels for DMC numbered floss along with 215 plastic bobbins (I counted 215 in mine, even though it's supposed to be 216) and a plastic bobbin winder. The lids to the boxes are not permanently attached to the bottoms, which I like – I always worry about how long plastic hinges will last, and in this case, it's not a concern. Overall, I’m very happy with these boxes and all the extra goodies they came with. The price is definitely competitive with boxes like these that don’t have all the little extras. ... show more
