Next day delivery was nice, I was expecting a cheap piece of crap that would shatter under pressure and leave me with chuncks of cheap Chinese steel inbeded in my skull. But nope, it worked! Lower control arm was just refuseing to come out. I had hammered on it, used penetrating oil... everything. Got this separator delivered next day shipping and yes, it still took about an hour to get it out, but the separator did great and didn't Crack, warp, explode or give me any reason for concern. Two bits of advice. 1 make sure it's seated correctly, it's got a little cup to cradle your balls... uh, ball joints, and apply some oil to the threads before using. No need to be fighting friction when applying that much pressure.

Have used this several time to remove ball joints from mug ATV and it works well. It is made of heavy duty metal and should last a lifetime. makes separating ball joints much easier. Every DIYer should own one.

Easy to use, I used this to separate a tie rod and it did what it says, easy to use and did not tear the tie rod boot, I wish I had bought this years ago!

I need to remove a hard to reach tie rod on a Yamaha ATV and was having trouble finding something to access this area and this tool did fit in and had the necessary clearances to access the tie rod. I do have similar ones but no access available due to size and design but was able to find this style (on Amazon) and the design was perfect for my needs and was in and out in 5

I have a 2013 Silverado and this to small, used this to replaced my upper control arms and was a waste of time. I ended up going to an auto store and getting a different tool.

The tool made tie rod end removal very easy. you attach the tool and turn with a wrench and it pops the tie rod end right off pretty simple but very effective
