Originally bought for living room but unfortunately clashed with other patterned rugs. I expected a dark brown background that would blend with my floor. The overall color is taupe. It is attractive and complementary where I have placed it, but it does have negatives. First, it slides easily and ends up in a bunch so that I can easily trip over it and fall. It doesn't feel soft under foot, and grout ridges are able to be felt when walking on it. The robot can vac it easily but is able to move it also. I was disappointed but really wanted just a warm surface over the cold tiles this winter, so I did not return it. I can't recommend it to anyone because I would never buy it again. ... show more

This area rug was just what we wanted and the colors are so nice. They call it red on one of the stripes but it is mor burgundy and that is exactly what we wanted. Looks really neat and love the design. Easy to vacuum spot clean if needed.

I paid $60 for this rug. It might be considered worth a little more given overall rug prices, but this is not some "super bargain" deal on a nice rug. Our FR throw rugs are high traffic to/from the backyard so between multiple human and pet trips every day the rugs in this room get a workout. Typically figure to spend $150 for something decent enough but also not concerned with replacing every 3 years. This rug fits the bill. I expect it to wear out sooner rather than later but the pattern is cool and colors fit the room nicely. The pictures are accurate. The fabric is soft (like heavy fabric softener soft) but it is overall a thin rug. One last comment: Rug as delivered measures 5'.2" x 7'.5". That 7" might not seem too much shorter than a standard 5 x 8 but you can definitely tell when you lay it out. ... show more
