Easy to sync with garage door opener. It worked the first time I pressed the button, while still on the ladder, the door opened (mind you it was 3 degrees outside temp.). I walked to garage door, pressed the button, door would not close. Pressed it five more times with same result. Had to use the wired button to close door. Will keep using the hit and miss 1998 model, that came with the house when I bought it in 2010. I had to tape the case together. At least it still works. ... show more

I was concerned because my model wasn’t listed but similar models were. We have a Craftsman hbw1127 (pictures attached, 1998). I pressed on the red button on the garage door control box and let go then held down the first button on the remote. The garage door control box light flashed and the remote worked.     • Works for 94 chamberlin green, however common enough mode for other remotes, many tries needed.
Works, uses button batteries 2032 maybe, old remotes use custom 12 mini. Can be a bot troublesome with getting all remotes synced up.
