To be honest, I wanted this because it wasn't blue or silver. I ended up buying a few more b/c of its utility. I did a camping trip to the Poconos and bought three of these. One was the groundsheet for the tent, the other two were in reserve. I ended up using both to give some extra shade to my spot and to rainproof the connecter between my vehicle and my tent. It did it's tarp thing perfectly (no leaks, no ripping - even in high winds). I think what I appreciate the most is that at this size, cleanup, folding and storage wasn't a task. These tarps were perfect for a tropical storm. It preformed all the things the description advertised. The tarp is a little thick but that really helped with its performance. It material is great quality and fit perfectly to the areas needed to withstand heavy rain.
