    • This rug is absolutely gorgeous, but I’m returning it to get one with a standard pad.

The cushioned pad is far too thick for this rug. I’m a tad past 79 and can walk reasonably well, but from my perspective this combination of a very thick pad under a very thin pad creates a tripping hazard. I have made unsuccessful attempts with rigid AI-generated forms and creepy voice Bots from both AMZ and Ruggable to see if I could just get a standard pad for the rug top I have. Then it occurred to me in a nightmare last night that the thin standard pad might not fit i The cushioned pad is far too thick for this rug. I’m a tad past 79 and can walk reasonably well, but from my perspective this combination of very thin top and thick pad creates a tripping hazard. I have made unsuccessful attempts with inadequate AI-generated forms and creepy voice Bots from both AMZ and Ruggable to see if I could just get a standard pad for the rug top I have. Then it occurred to me in a nightmare last night that the thin standard pad might not fit tightly enough under the larger pockets sewn into the corners of the rug tops to hold the cushion pad I have. SO I’m planning to return the whole rug “system” I have and order the standard pad “system” combination. This will also be ca $30 cheaper and less hassle. It’s beautiful and true to the photos in description. There is no pile at all. The pad is awesome - no slip. Let’s see how it wears. But in the meantime, I think I’ll buy another.

I have a very chaotic eccentric decorating style. I saw this rug and had to have it. Beautiful colors. Excellent design. Of course this rug led to other changes that needed to be made. Is it soft? No. Do I care? No. Do my dogs love it? Yes. Do I love it? Absolutely!
