Right from the box this mobility scooter was easy to get set up, with minimal assembly. My husband is 6’4” and this scooter is working for him. We did have a problem though. While riding it the scooter just stopped. He got it going but it kept just stopping. One review I read had commented on the excellent customer service, which was one reason I bought it. It was accurate. Our first call to Rubicon was answered by an actual human! Their tech department concluded it needed a new throttle. They were willing to send a new throttle but my husband didn’t want to deal with that. Rubicon arranged for FedEx to pick up the old one (glad we kept the box) and sent a new one the next day. IMPRESSIVE! So far my husband says it’s working, but I am keeping the box and all the packing material until he’s had it a month, just in case. It’s a great scooter, rides on grass and dirt just fine, as well as the street. I kept all the texts with customer service and looking back, it really did make a huge difference, especially buying such an expensive item online. It folds up easily and will fit in the car trunk so he can take it to car shows and more.

This is my favorite mobility scooter. It's safe and I love that it folds down to a small size when I need to put it away. I bought an extra battery directly from Rubicon so I have a back up. I am happy I chose to buy an extra battery.

I ordered this scooter and it came. There were no problems. It had a smooth ride. It went a little fast, but it was nice. The problem started when I tried to lift it, and my husband tried to lift it and the 79 pounds which is too much for us. I initiated a return with the company Rubicon. They sent me a return label but it wasn’t prepaid, when I call them they told me I had to send $110 for return postage which I did. I asked them for proof of the return fee so I could submit it. I sent the scooter back and kept asking them for proof of return fee and now they told me it was not a return fee. It was a restock fee and restock fees are not refundable. I have contacted them several times but they have not answered me. I am very disappointed with this company. They also deducted the $110 from my refund. I feel very betrayed by this company.

The media could not be loaded. Two weeks into ownership with only two short trips to the wild outdoors of grocery shopping and I must say; the auto-fold one touch button fob makes it so simple to use. There’s a couple of different ways to pick it up (you’ll find what works for you). I use the middle bar & bumper bar. Next, the speed really took me by surprise. With the throttle turned all the way up, it really zips around quite quickly. So, be sure to turn the throttle on low until you’re comfortable. The seat is very comfortable. The motor is quiet. It comes with one detachable hard cover zip closed “pouch” that mounts on the handlebar (large enough to hold one 28oz sports drink bottle). I contacted their customer service dept with initial questions. They were very quick to respond. Very helpful in providing additional support videos. And, I just emailed them today to ask about any additional accessories they might have to offer. (I’d like a larger mountable/removable shopping basket for the front if available. In the descriptions it does say it comes with a “bright LED headlight”. I don’t see that and have emailed them for clarification. Other than that, I think it’s a pretty good deal.
