Right from the box this mobility scooter was easy to get set up, with minimal assembly. My husband is 6’4” and this scooter is working for him. We did have a problem though. While riding it the scooter just stopped. He got it going but it kept just stopping. One review I read had commented on the excellent customer service, which was one reason I bought it. It was accurate. Our first call to Rubicon was answered by an actual human! Their tech department concluded it needed a new throttle. They were willing to send a new throttle but my husband didn’t want to deal with that. Rubicon arranged for FedEx to pick up the old one (glad we kept the box) and sent a new one the next day. IMPRESSIVE! So far my husband says it’s working, but I am keeping the box and all the packing material until he’s had it a month, just in case. It’s a great scooter, rides on grass and dirt just fine, as well as the street. I kept all the texts with customer service and looking back, it really did make a huge difference, especially buying such an expensive item online. It folds up easily and will fit in the car trunk so he can take it to car shows and more.

This is my favorite mobility scooter. It's safe and I love that it folds down to a small size when I need to put it away. I bought an extra battery directly from Rubicon so I have a back up. I am happy I chose to buy an extra battery.

Fantastic product fantastic customer service. We had trouble with folding and unfolding the unit. I called and left a voicemail with my order number and phone number and name. They texted me within a few hours with a video to watch. We watched, followed the instructions and it works perfect perfectly.. I highly recommend.

I had to return it because it was way too heavy. This scooter requires 2 people to lift it into the car. When I took it to UPS to have them box it up. It weighted over 75lbs and cost me $377.00 to return. ($210.00 was shipping, 65.00 was boxing up and balance was insurance) The return instructions from Amazon read contact seller if shipping costs are over $30.00 but there is no email or phone number to contact. Here’s hoping it arrives safely and somehow I get reimbursed for the shipping fees. But if you don’t plan on traveling anywhere or have some strong people to help you lift it the scooter seems nice.
