Absolutely recommend. I have had this chair fishing as well as in one of the largest sporting goods stores. It performs perfectly. It performs better than the price range it is in. Make sure to do the maintenance of checking the nuts bolts and screws are tight before first use as well periodically through continuous use. Excellent battery life is a BIG bonus.

We purchased this wheelchair for my husband. He can walk, but The number of steps he can do each day is limited. He uses this wheelchair only on days where we know there will be a lot of walking. We bought it in January 2024. We did not put it together until February. We used it once twice to test it out in February and March. On one of those two trips, the metal from the foot holds broke, and so we had to find a way to keep the footholds from swinging out. Then we used it in April for a week – long vacation in New York City, and it did great—went everywhere and held a charge for most of the day, But it did run out of power a couple of times and I really wish that we had a second battery because it does take a while to charge. Since then, we have only used it occasionally. I would say a total of 6-8 times since April vacation. The last time it worked was July—it was used for a day-long event. We brought it home, charged it and then in August, took it with us to a museum and the motor had stopped running. We have tried everything to figure out why the motor is not running, But we cannot troubleshoot the problem. The power turns on, But the chair will not go. I estimate that we got 20 days use out of this chair. It was really great when it worked. We stored it in a dry, warm place and took good care of it, and were careful when transporting it, so I don’t know why it stopped working. I am disappointed.

We love this power chair. When we got it I checked all of the bolts and nuts to make sure they were all tight and only a couple of them were a little loose. I was trying to decide if I was going to send it back because in the description it said that it would do a 12 degree incline max. Our ramp is 7.5 so I figured it would work. I also liked that Rubicon is here in the US and is a US company. The chair does say made in China - but anyway. When I looked at the manual is said that 6 degrees was the max incline it would handle. I had it all packaged ready to go back and I decided to call Rubicon and ask them. they were great. they got back to me right away. I thought I had bought from them directly through Amazon , but looked closer at my invoice - and it was a different company selling Rubicon. But they didn't care, they helped right away and told me that it should be fine for our ramp and if not to send it back to them. So, we tried it , and yes it works great. I like the fact that it is foldable and easy to store. We really like the footprint and we have tried it outside on several different surfaces - and it seems to work really well. My husband is just under 200 lbs - but it's rated for 300 lb - maybe at that weight it would be slower- i don't know. The joystick takes a bit to get used to because it is very sensitive, but someone complained that the slowest speed was too fast, Once you get used to the joystcik you can literally crawl if you want to. And it is pretty peppy even up the hill on our street. Also, one of the foot rest clips got a couple of pieces out of it.- when it fell on the floor. They sent me two new clips immediately. So, they have been really great and very responsive. I would definitely buy from them again. Our only suggestion would be to make the anti-tip supports in the back about a 1/2 in to 3/4 of an inch shorter. they are not adjustable and They do get caught sometimes - like on our speed bumps on our street and on one spot on our ramp. But other than that - great.

The rear wheel is bumping me in the seat like a knot on the wheel but there is no knot on the Wheel I found out it's the gearbox from day one it cleaned and clattered I thought it would smooth out but it's gotten worse it's popping and cracking and bumps me every turn of the wheel also it only has one battery it was advertised for two hey guys two Motors they don't even have wearing for the second battery in the battery box on the right is empty one little tiny battery about 3 inches by maybe 6 in very small but it's supposed to be the best batteries you can buy and I think it is but one battery is not going to pull the wheelchair in my weight very far matter of fact the battery went dead I'm in rehabs reasoning about it can't walk and the left rear tire was low on air too had to have it pumped up anyway if you decide to buy this be sure all boats and nuts are tightened they send you a ranch and Allen wrench to do that so be sure and do that and check the right side and see if he's a battery in yours these batteries are very very expensive they're more 10 times more than lead acid batteries it's the kind of battery they install electric cars but much larger and they last much longer than the lead acid battery in their more powerful so I'm getting by with one battery when should be two they did not even include the wiring to hook to the second motor they hook the second motor to the One battery it's a good wheelchair all in all it's very comfortable got plenty of speed but but think about it is your battery life will only last half the time they said it would mine run down on me the second day and I'm in a rehab center and I drove it up and down the Halls and I had to charge it that night by the way the charger is automatic when the battery gets full it turns off so you can go to bed and let it charge that's a good future all in all I like the wheelchair but I don't like the lies they tell to get people to buy it it will not climb a 12° incline it will not go over speed bumps in the road like they said it would they said all train well I'll leave it up to you to try I hope you have a good day PS: also the left rear wheel the gearbox is grinding like Metals then grinded together sometimes it stops and then it starts back out again there's definitely something wrong with the gearbox please somebody help me to stop by and junk products like the wheelchair I bought from them it was tore up on delivery and I can't find no way in the world I've tried ever since that thing come about 5 days ago I cannot talk to Amazon or the owner at all it's a bunch of bull the way they got their system set up now it sucks
