I have had a pair of Keene's and liked them, and I actually did my search for Keene's, but a lot of other similar sandals came up. I got this pair and just took a walk in them and like them. One thing about Keene's is they come in half sizes, but they also have a fixed strap in back. This pair comes in full sizes, so I ordered a 10 when I usually wear a 9.5, but I noticed they have an adjustable strap in back, so that makes it great to size them for the best fit. They are pretty sturdy, very similar to Keene's, and are pretty comfortable, but the only drawback is that the rubber nose part doesn't go around the sides as much as Keene's. I was worried that my left foot, a tad larger, might have a problem from rubbing on the opening, see photo, but it doesn't appear to be a problem. However, since everyone's feet are different, I'd bet that some folks won't like that fit by the big toe. So, for less than half the price of Keene's, I'm damn happy and definitely prefer having two pairs of these for less than one pair of Keene's. Time to order another color! ... show more

I Purchased these Sandals for a South Pacific expedition cruise, where “Wet Zodiac “ landings were the norm . I treated them prior to the trip with mink oil. They are very comfortable and dried quickly. I still use them around town and fishing. Highly recommended.

A little disappointed, but not enough to return. Ordered the A-grey and received the C-grey which are a grayish green. The inside sole has molded grooves which I’m sure for keeping the foot from sliding within. I find it a little uncomfortable, but hoping my foot will get use to it. Heel strap Velcro is different than what I’m used to, but I’m sure with time it won’t seem too awkward. As for the likes you can’t beat the price, light weight, true size fitment and quality appears to be good. Only time will verify that. My last sandals were Teva which lasted over ten years. If I get 5 out of these I’d be happy. ... show more

Honestly, I was hesitant to order these, as I had never heard of the brand before. For less than $40, I thought: "What the heck ?"... We got them for our anniversary cruise, as my old Skechers sandals had worn out. After about 10 minutes of wearing these, they felt broken-in and very comfortable. Time will only tell how they are going to hold up, but they seem to be very well constructed, and I am not especially hard on my footwear anyway. Sizing: I wear a size 10 in my dress shoes, and so I ordered these in size 10 also. They fit perfectly, and the adjustable strap at the back really makes you able to dial them in for your foot size. My right foot is slightly smaller than my left, so since I am able to adjust these, they feel like I am wearing the same size on both feet. Looks: I have owned sandals in the past made by Keen, and Teva, and I honestly have to say these are every bit is good looking. 😊 If you order these, I hope you are as happy with them as I am so far. ... show more

I just received these shoes. I've worn them for 3 days. So, I can't say anything about them other than they look nice, they fit and feel fine. No hot spots. I tried them because the last 2 pairs of $100 Keens had their soles fall off after minimal use. These were about 1/3 the price and so far so good. If anything changes I'll repost. ... show more
