We've had a family bin or bags forever for returnables, but until I put this bright blue can with a circular cut-out lid in the house, people failed to put returnables where they go. Something about the color seems to hypnotize them into doing it. Or maybe the shape of the lid hole? I don't like that the lids cost so much but different lids=different uses. Truth be told I wish it had a lid that allowed you to slide cans in sideways, like a round flap. If I wish to use this outside for cans I have to cover it in the rain... the center hole is an efficient drain. Not joking, though, my family sorts returnables better because it's easy to find and takes a long time to fill. I use blue clear contractor bags inside. ... show more
