Works just fine and as intended, takes some fabrication to get it mounted securely but I only used what was given in the kit and was able to get it done, did set a check engine light for a lean code but I believe that is more of a my vehicle and motor thing than the product itself

I have a 2010 Cobalt Coupe LS, 2.2L Engine. Out of the box, everything fit as it should. I did have to cut down the hose to size but otherwise, it was super easy. Took me longer to remove the factory intake than it did to install this one. No complaints here.

Saturn Ion 2006 with the Ecotec 2.2. Needed a replacement airbox for the car since the spring latches where broken. So, this seemed like a cheap alternative, and it is. First issue was the screws for the MAF sensor, they are WAY too short! Lucky enough I have a ton of small metric bolts and machine screws for my RC hobby addiction. Second issue is rubber type/make that is used. It on the hard side and was malformed in the packaging. Had to use hot water to soften. The intake pipe wants to slide out, even when clamped as tight as possible. Still not 100% if I can resolve that issue yet. Third issue is the supplied support bracket/ pieces. I had to hodge podge a set-up to support the weight of the filter and tube. Just drilled a 3/8 hole in the upper radiator support. Bent and lined up underneath, then heavy zip tied it! (it's not stupid if it works, right?) Didn't effect running or anything that I can notice. Didn't buy it for "Performance" reasons and I really don't care cause it's a daily work car.

Don't buy this. I was happy to see show up but was discouraged that the mass air flow sensor would not fit and the screw holes did not line up. I made an attempt to make it work with absolutely no success. DO NOT waste your money or time with this product. Not worth the money. I've managed to make crap work being in the automotive business as an ASE master technician for 35 years and this is just crap. Spend the money on a better product but this isn't it.

i came into this knowing that it is not going to be the best product but that’s okay because i got it in and it doesn’t feel or look as cheap as i thought. a few downsides are that it doesn’t come with any information on how to set up the brackets so i had to rig something up myself and it also didn’t come with the tubing that i thought it would so i had to go and get some. over all i got it put on and it looks great and i can tell a difference in sound. only time will tell how it holds up
