    • Not good for silky Acrylics
I bought this product because I have had a lot of donations of yarn 50 lbs. I have 4 ply, silky acrylics, and acrylics. The product works well for half rolls of yarn. Not good for whole rolls. It is not a hard product to use. But it is not as good as I would have hoped for. But it is decent for the price. Good luck ... show more

Will not support a full skeins. Will not stay mounted on any surface. If you have a partial skein it works great. Not for silky skeins.

    • Nice and gets the job done
This is a nice yarn winder. The yarn flows through it nicely. I don’t usually get it tangled because the thread guide keeps it in place. It’s great for scrap yarn and keeps it organized better than having several balls of yarn rolling everywhere. I don’t believe an entire skein of yarn will fit on it though. I have only used it on scrap yarn. It attaches nicely to a chair or table top and doesn’t move around. ... show more

Yarn keeps getting caught in between pieces. It’s really hard to use. Only having luck with very textured yarn. Anything smooth just becomes a mess

Pretty good. The metal loop can be pulled out wards even. I added some cardboard for a wider base, and rolls to keep the balls from collapsing inwards. Can be a bit loud when on a surface. I put some fabric under and it corrected it.
