Great way to a modernize a lamp base. You can tell these are mass produced but they still look pretty nice. in addition to my old fabric shades looking out of date, I got tired of them getting dusty and dingy, even if you brush them off or vacuum them with a hose attachment, fabric shades still get permanently dingy after several years, even in a non-smoking household.
