Hi everyone, I don't usually write reviews but I had such a great experience with this seller and the meteor LED lights that I bought that I had to write a review. For Halloween last year (10/2019) I had bought 8 purple meteor's (19.6" in length), from a different seller, to hang them on my home's gutters along 3 sides of my house. To my dismay, several of the meteor tubes accumulated condensation, and actually got water inside and shorted/fried out some of the LED's that the LED's rusted inside the tubes. When the rusted water dripped out of the tubes, it landed on my sidewalk and I now have stains on my sidewalk. I now have meteors that have zapped out individual LED's that cannot be fixed or replaced. That seller claimed their meteors were waterproof; I truly believe they were not! I have reported this false adverting to Amazon. Since, I really liked the cascading meteor effect (and so did ALL of my neighbors: kids and adults), I decided that for Christmas this year, I would find a different seller in which to buy some red and green ones. So, for my first order from "Roytong" (dated 11/17/19), (to hang in the same place as the Halloween meteors), I bought, 24 meteors, yes 24…. as follows (they arrived 11/21/19 - now that was fast!): 6 - Red 19.7" 6 - Green 19.7" 6 - Red 11.8" 6 - Green 11.8" The weekend of 11/23/19, I installed, the shorter ones on the outside house gutters: along the garage door, front door, walk way entrance, and over the bedroom windows. The longer ones I ran along the whole length of one side of the house, also installed on the gutters. I alternated the colors when hanging them: red, green, red, green, etc. It looked so cool when I turned them all on! Upon arrival, one of the meteors tubes had a short in it that caused the 3 tubes to one side, not to light up. I contacted the seller, which was quick to reply, and he promptly sent out another one. When setting these up, I truly had all 24 sets connected together (piggy backed), as one string, and the whole set was plugged in to one outlet. I had NO issues what-so-ever with dimming at the far opposite end of the string, from where they were receiving power. The purple/Halloween ones that I bought from a different seller, I could NOT do this and had extra extension cords throughout that were now susceptible to water intrusion at each connection. On 12/03/19, I decided to purchase a bunch more of these meteors since the ones I just mentioned, have been working very well for about two weeks. These new ones would be installed on two Coconut Palm Trees at the back of my house, like a Weeping Willow Tree kind of effect for Christmas. This time around, on 12/03/19 I bought (They were delivered 12/09/19. This order took a bit longer because they were shipped directly from China vs Amazon's facilities due to low, local inventory. They still arrived very fast considering they came from overseas): 5 - Red 19.7" 5 - Green 19.7" 6 - Blue 19.7" (Not for Christmas but for my back screened in patio, when it is finally built.) So, in summary I bought a total of 40 meteors LED lights from this seller; two separate orders. The first set was outside in the elements for about 6 weeks. The second set, about 3 weeks. Both were subject to light rain, which never had an issue. I did have ALL the plugs/power adapters hidden or covered from the rain. As far as condensation, these meteors have a larger cut out hole at the ends of them allowing things in the insides of the tubes to breathe. The only bad or down side is/was, when strong winds came through, the tubes would flip up on top of the gutters therefore exposing the open, cut out hole to allow water from the rain to get inside. I would try and catch this when I could and fix them, but I have a zillion other Christmas lights, effects and music that it made it hard to monitor everything that was going on. And because the tubes are so light, that is what caused them to flip upside down, when the winds picked up. I truly don't have any complaints about these meteors, or the seller, other than, I wish the meteor tubes weren't so light and fragile, but otherwise these meteors did their job. I am impressed on how bright they are (double sided LED's, vs the cheap competition's one sided LED's), how waterproof things are, how easy they are to connect together, and how impressed my neighbors were. Of which, they were very disappointed I had to take all the Christmas decorations down, including the meteors. I look forward to decorating with these meteors again next year for Christmas, and forwarding the seller's info to my friends or neighbors who ask, "Where did I buy these meteors?" I will add pictures and video when I have a chance. PS: I now have the blue 19" ones installed on my back patio, gable roof, and they look awesome. I will now need to buy one more set of blue since I could not calculate the proper measurements for the gable roof. I am so happy with these LED meteor lights and would recommend them and this seller to anyone that buys them. 02/24/20: I tried posting 2 different videos here but for some reason once they were posted on Amazon's website the quality of the video was downgraded for some reason and looked like crap. The video was taken from a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G. Maybe Amazon's site can't handle the video this (new) cell phone produced? Meantime, the videos look great on my computer. IDK

My home is located on the hill of Saint-Fulgence. It is often covered with heavy snow in winter. In November, I planned to decorate my house with these meteor lights for Christmas. For the first purchase, I ordered 5 sets of warm. With only having the lights up a few days, I can only comment that the construction of the lights seem to be well made. I do love the meteor shower effect of these lights for Christmas and New Years decorations and my family and neighbors had commented how much they like them. Roytong is the only meteor shower I found on Amazon that allows multiple sets of cascading . What puzzled me at first was that many buyers said that their lights could not be connected together ❓. After reading the manual , it turns out that they can indeed be connected to each other. Please note! The connection way of string is different from others.It is not end-to-end connection. Just as another buyer said, "piggy backed?" I cannot describe this clearly...(Please check the manual for it). Moreover, They have a loop built into the cap so I didn't need to hang from cord. I held in place securely to gutters with zip ties. It greatly facilitated my installation project. Upgrade：I purchased more of these meteors since the ones have been working through 3 snows and 1 heavy rain without issues. I bought 50 sets warm, 8 sets blue, 5 purple, 6 green. I installed it on the outdoor drain, windows and door. When hanging them, I used a variety of colors. The interval between each tube is 10-40cm. When I opened them all, they looked really cool! They were very eye-catching. As seen in the video, The effect was very pleasing and randomizes. I truly had all 69 sets connected together.For what these lights are, they are great, very bright, and exactly as advertised "Suitable for large projects!!" Only Roytong can connect 69 sets together. Update 2: Winter is over, 67 sets of them survived, and 2 sets went out. the rest lights are still performing as new. They have withstood heavy rain, snow and wind without issues. All the tubes benefit from the round holes at the bottom of the pipe, and all the water flows out of these small pores. I plan to buy some more next year, hanging on our eaves! they arrived timely and even had a pre del note about what to do with any defective lights. Both boxes (20 led tubes) work and are vibrant purple. They are light weight and can be spaced as needed about 10" between each. Translucent string means it's not an eyesore during daylight. The power pack is about one foot from first tube led, which means you have to mount it somewhere (hidden, it's orange!) So I used alien tape and stuck them under the overhang eave (They have cut outs on the power pack to put screws up if need be, but didn't come with screws). To create the Pic in description one would need probably 5+ boxes of 10 tube's each as two would look sparce on a tree. On gutters they look good at night. Aside from power pack that I can't understand why it's one foot from first tube yet has about five or more feet on its other side to the plug (would think it would be foot from plug, allowing five feet of length to first tube...) the wires took about 5 min each of meticulous unraveling even though it was wound and with wires to keep it together. All in all, it's worth the money and was easy to install.

I used two strands across the eaves- they were easy to connect and they look great! (The reflection on the windows gives the appearance of a double row, but it is a single row of two connected strands). These are made from plexiglass and are lighter than the original glass products that came out 5-10 years ago. Very easy to hang because of the light weight. The only downside of the light weight is that the lights do not all hang perfectly straight down the way a heavy glass tube would - you can see some are a little tilted. But they are an incredible value! They add a wonderful effect to the front of our house. Absolutely love them!

These lights are pretty (I got 20 inch warm white), and the meteor shower effect is unique. However, of the five strings I ordered, two were wired incorrectly preventing them from hanging correctly. It's too hard to explain the problem, but my husband spent an hour trying to untangle them, and it turned out to be impossible short of taking out the wires and re-wiring them/reattaching them to the small power box thing/transistor on the string. The company was responsive when I emailed to complain, and they sent me a replacement pretty quickly, but the fact that 40% of the product I received was defective gives me the feeling that the product is overall pretty shoddy.

After sitting new on my shelf for 6 months, I opened the box and installed the lights outdoors on a timer. They worked normally for 3 days, then on the 4th day, they did not light up. I pulled the plug then plugged it back in and they worked another night. I checked the inline connector for tightness. After that, nothing, cannot get them to come on. I suspect the LED driver block failed, which is placed in line before the first light. Unfortunately I can't get a refund as I bought them 10 months earlier. Cannot recommend. EDIT: 12/07/22 I tested the light string with a voltmeter and inductive power wand, there is no voltage past the driver module in between the plug and the first light. I cut the leads after the module and connected the string to a 9v power transformer and all the lights came on and worked normally. So lights are good but the driver failed. 12/12/22 The seller Roytong read my review and reached out to me with an offer of a free replacement string of lights. He expedited shipment and I just received the replacement and it's working as advertised. I can now use the first set of lights plugged into the new second set as the new driver will power them both. Seller added an extended warranty on this unit, so if it does fail I'm covered. Based on above and beyond customer support I'm adjusting my rating from a previous 1 star to 5 stars.
