This is the second pillow I’ve purchased from this company. I first tried the one that had the adjustable foam layers that you can remove but ended up giving it to my partner to try this one. I’m so glad I made this choice because I slept so much better with this pillow. It’s so much softer and the shredded foam can be adjusted and removed to make it less full which is amazing. This is my first foam or shredded foam pillow. General impressions: very fluffy w/ all filling, seems well made so far, may be warm in summer. To fluff: don't just pull the pillows out of packaging and let them sit. I pulled them out, kneaded like bread in all directions, beat them, played them like an accordion while feeling for lumps to break up, and that got it to about 75% fluffed right off the bat. After letting sit out on the bed the rest of the day, was very very poofed by bedtime. No noticeable odor (and I've a sensitive nose). First night was too high and firm for me (mostly side, some back sleep). Removed enough filling to loosely fill the zippered pillow packaging and that seems to be about right.
