I Was not happy at all I did not vacuum my rug for a week, used the Rowenta and then used my old one and that one picked up another batch which the Rowenta did not. Should have been a stronger suction. Its probably very good on hard floors. Also very hard to push around.

I had great hopes for this vacuum. But a few things make me grade it down one star. Battery life - isn't very much. Sure, it will run a long time on 'Eco,' but the suction power is meager. I use the 'Turbo' setting for more' regular' vacuuming. It's noisy, but there is enough suction to clean crumbs, dust, and random bits of paper. The 'normal' setting still seems underpowered to me. So I use the Turbo setting, and the battery lasts about six minutes. I was hoping to use this vacuum as my main vac, but with the short battery life, it is relegated to the category of 'touch up' vac. It's suitable for small jobs that you can finish in about five minutes. A vac of this caliber should include either a larger battery or another small battery. When I checked Amazon, replacement batteries weren't available for this yet. That leaves me with a vacuum I can use for 6 minutes, but it needs to be charged for a couple of hours. The vac kit has all the necessary attachments. I like to use the round brush on the vac port, but the large body of the vac motor makes close cleaning difficult. This vac gets into more tight corners when the extension rod attachment is used with the brush. All of the components seem high quality. This vac comes nicely boxed. The floor attachment is especially nice, but a stronger vac motor and battery are needed for the floor attachment to pick up all the dirt it passes over. This vac is perfect for many people, but the short battery life and minimal suction on all but the turbo mode make this a niche vac. ... show more

I had high hopes for this vaccum as I did a few hours of research and reviewing tons of cordless stick vacuums and ultimately chose this Rowenta. Unfortunately we paid for a Brand New item and that's definitely NOT what we received which isn't Rowenta's fault. When I went to return/exchange the item they didn't give me the option of choosing the same vaccum which was weird. So we went with the Worx our 2nd choice and it's awesome. ... show more
