I bought the 10,000btu unit in May '22 and ran it for June, July, and August in auto at 62° (seemed to never shut off at 61°) it ran really really well and chilled my small apartment including the downstairs to a very comfortable temperature. Unfortunately this summer after reinstall, the unit seems to have a defect that caused it to fail with a combined total of just under 4 months of run time. I reached out to customer service, and while they did inform me that the warranty had gone out and recommended a loval HVAC for repair, they ALSO went out of their way and sent a brand new 8000btu unit that i believe more than compensates for the short run time on the malfunctioning unit. I was outside when it arrived & was handed it directly. Yet it STILL was slightly damaged! The top was slightly bent. But otherwise it's perfect! It puts out great cold air with plenty of power. It's worth purchasing but your taking your chances if "FedEx" delivers it. Which by the way is way to expensive for shipping costs! (The unit is in an attic window. Put it in place of the old one. Turned it on and soon enough cold air. A bit loud on high blower but not bad at all. The remote is a good quality remote not the typical pos. Time will tell, so far so good.

Like title said less than a year and this is already going out on us in the middle of summer! I have a bed bound husband who is not able to regulate his body temp and has already had to be rushed to ER for overheating because of this thing. It will blow cool air for about 3-5min then starts blowing outside hot air. filter is kept clean and all settings are correct. Edit: They replaced the AC. New one came about a week after reporting the issue while this one is pretty loud compared to the last one the air is nice and cold. They will ask you to send video of the cord being cut of the damaged one so make sure you borrow or have a small back up AC. ... show more

This AC came in a short time and my tenants had it installed before I could come and help. It was HOT here in the Pacific Northwest this year and the duplex unit is over 800 sq. feet. I knew it was a bit undersized but the tenants said it kept the whole unit very comfortable. I'd buy another one if I had another unit to rent!! ... show more
