Best purchase I've made this year! I bought two because I've been hearing a lot of good things, my HVAC system would cost way too much to replace right now, so I figured this would be a good alternative to hold me off and provide additional comfort once the system was replaced. These two together work better than my system ever has, I put one upstairs and one downstairs and my whole house feels amazing!!! The very first night my son complained it was too cold, we've got them running at 74 and it feels great! There's barely any noise, I almost wish I had it in my room because it has a slight white noise to it, it looks great, and I like the swing arm function, it's awesome to be able to pick where you want the air to hit. The one in my downstairs area actually can point right at my sectional couch, but when it gets too cold I'm able to adjust it and point the air up at our ceiling fan to more evenly distribute the cooling and take the focus off the sectional couch. 500$ is the crazy part to me, it would have absolutely seemed like a lot of money before I got quotes on replacing my system, the lowest amount I was quoted from a handyman was $7000, from a professional company $15,000, with the price of installation I spent $1400 all together on 2 splits!!! Unit quit working with only a couple short uses. Throwing a code. Tried to reach out to seller and manufacturer for a solution and of course it happened just pass the 30 day return window. Noone will get back to us and help us resolve the problem. Guess i'm just out 700.00.

Great equipment, works as advertised, super value. Multiple modes for just about any application. Can set on- or off-timers. Outside unit is a little bulky, but fairly light. Both inside and outside units are EXTREMELY quiet. The only downside is the typical poor English translation of the instruction manuals, but it is more comical than inaccurate. ... show more

FYI the indoor unit fans run all the time but the outdoor unit only when cooling kicks off. It's a very low power fan, like .5 amps or less. Key for instalation drill your 2 inch hole in an extreme angle down from in to out, that way for your your drain hose is always pointing down not making any 90 degree bends. ... show more
