We just put 6 of these in our home to replace our antiquated whole house HVAC system. The power bills are down and our house has never been this cool during our hot Nevada summers. These units easily handle keeping the house 30 degrees cooler than outside! I will caution against wall mounting though as they can cause vibration in the house studs. We have one in the garage that was just fine and we never hear it but we mounted two to the walls and they make a lot of strange random vibrations in other parts of the house. If possible, go with the ground pad or concrete pad mount. We're now figuring out how we're going to shim a pedastool under them without disconnecting them and letting all the refrigerant out so we can take them off the side of the house and put them on posts in concrete.

These things are great! I installed the Rovson 240V 12000 btu 23 seer unit last weekend and it works very well. Seems to be a high quality unit. The line set and most accessories are good quality, but the wall sleeve is cheap junk. I used a piece of pvc pipe to route the lines through my wall instead. I also cut the lines and wires to length and re-flared the ends. Much nicer this way. I strongly recommend getting a good copper flaring tool. I used one of the DuctlessAire wall mounts for the outdoor unit and lag booted it right to my exterior wall. Use a pump to pull a vacuum and make sure it holds air, and you’re good to go. All in all - very happy it turned on after all the hard work!

Received ac the main mother board was bad.Ups and US postal says item to big to ship back.No help from seller or Amazon

The Amazon description for this item clearly indicates that the refrigerant in this unit is supposed to be R32. However the actual refrigerant used per the unit label is R410. Considering that R410 is being phased out completely within a year or so this could be a big deal for many buyers.
