  • very nice product
Size: 18,000 BTU, 230V, 19 SEER
The media could not be loaded. Came with cosmetic damage to one unit, Not the manufacture's fault, that's on FedEx. After a modest refund I agreed to kept it if it worked, it did. I suggest you for-go the flared fittings if you can, they are famous for leaking, one of mine did. Since you can't buy R-410a from almost anyone, you'll be paying some "AC contractor" to fix and recharge the system. I did use the Teflon sealer on the other fittings, and they worked. Just had trouble with one fitting. If you have some DIY skills, you can buy a swedgeing tool to open one copper line then slide the other line into the swedged one, and solder with silver solder just as the AC contractor would, and then charge you, around $480, @ $80/ pound for the freon, R-410a and labor. Overall, I'm very happy with these 2 units. We went with the 18,000 BTU size just to make sure we would never have an issue keeping the house cold in the middle of summer in central Florida. We cool 1,400 square feet. I don't know the exact dolor amount for each month, to cool, but we have been very happy so-far. And the heat pump mode, heats the home very well also, we just don't need it that often because the home is very well insulated with closed cell spray foam. We run them on whisper mode all of the time (very low speed, and very quiet). If they last several years, they will be a great investment, if not, I think they will be a simple changeout. I tell people all the time, if there forced air system goes bad, consider installing these instead. I saved at least $6000 dolor's +, with these in our new home. I highly recommend this Rovsun Mini Splits. ... show more

  • Works well
Size: 12,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
Pretty surprised as to how well this unit worked. It was super easy to install after I had my electrician run the power and outside service breaker. Drilled one hole in the wall to the outside, screw everything thing together and boom your done. This unit cooled the entire ground floor level of my 1700 square foot house very well. It lasted the whole year since I bought it and then we sold the house so I can't say if it will last or not but it did work very well while we had it. Kind of can't beat the price either. ... show more

  • Works great and quiet
Size: 9,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
Easy to install if you have a vacuum pump and gauge set, saw a review of someone not happy they had to hire an HVAC guy to install it, they should pay more attention to the item description. Just vacuum the line, I used the blue thread sealant and turned on, works perfectly and is quiet. I bought another one for another room. I don't know about the heat function as I live in the Caribbean but cools well. ... show more

  • 12,000 BTU unit Works great on a 40 ft motorhome, energy efficient enough for solar!
Size: 12,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
I’m very impressed with this minisplit, I installed it on my motorhome after a tornado damaged the rooftop AC. On the initial start, it was 85 outside and about 90 inside, brought the inside temperature down to 68 in just under an hour. On the first boot, it drew 900 watts until it was down to about 75 degrees, then it drew about 700 watts until it was down to 68 (set temp.) At 68, it floats between 200-600 watts, averaging about 300 watts used per hour. My 500 watt solar array in direct sunlight runs it without issues and even charges the battery bank slightly during the brightest parts of the day. Installation was straight forward, I have some residential electrical experience, some automotive experience and 0 hvac experience and I got it installed in about 5 hours. The included instructions aren’t the best, but YouTube gave me pretty much all the information I needed to get it done. Overall, 10/10 it was way better in every way than I expected and works well in a motorhome application! Just one thing to note, I just tied this to the breaker my old rooftop AC used which was 30 amps. I expected this to use a similar amount of power with similar wires, but because it uses such little power and uses such thin wire I replaced it with a 15 amp breaker, and you should too! If there’s a short somewhere, the included wires certainly wouldn’t pass enough current to trip a 30 amp breaker. This is a significant upgrade to the rooftop AC, and the one i had was pretty new and an efficient model ... show more

  • Does not meet expectations
Size: 12,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
Had unit professionally installed in 30ft camper. Meets all clearance requirements listed in manual. Struggles to keep camper cool to 68/70 degrees when outside temperature is only 75degrees. Simple easy install. Vacuumed the lines prior to stsrt up. Pressure levels all checked out good. Both indoor unit and outdoor unit have both frozen over attempting to keep a 5 degree difference from outside and it's not even the summer yet ... show more

  • Quite
Size: 12,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
This was a little difficult to install. You will need a licensed professional to install. The unit works great. I have yet to see if it effects my power bill.

  • Works great!
Size: 9,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
My husband has been looking for something for years to use in his workshop to heat and cool. We had an industrial type heater and window ac unit and did they ever take a long time time to work. Also not energy efficient. My husband is in love with this unit. It’s so quiet, and takes about 15 minutes to heat to the point where he takes his jacket off. Haven’t gotten an electric bill yet but I know it can’t be much as fast as this thing starts working. He used to have to turn the other heater on a few hours before going into shop but not now! ... show more

  • So Far So Good
Size: 9,000 BTU, 115V, 19 SEER
Had read the if you get a unit that is does not have "pre-vacuumed lines" and you do it yourself you save a lot of money. I was intimated by the idea, but thought I'd tried it. Turned out, vacumming a AC line, with tons of Youtube videos to guide you, is super easy. I have this unit in a detached studio space, and it's worked flawlessly so far. Not a long term testimony, but so far, so good. And far easier to install than I expected. (Note: I'd rank my "handyman" skills as above average. May not be for a novice to try to install.). For me a simple and very rewarding experience by saving tons of money. ... show more
