Yes for some people brands especially Chinese may sound funny or bad quality but hey!.. it’s the normal even the best iPhones are made there and now here we go… this keyboard.. AMAZING piece of hardware even if the price it’s not on par with other more reputable brands…support this maker!, why ? Because they are really doing an amazing work with price and what they are delivering …yes mine may be a brown keys but I was expecting that, I know it’s not the best key feeling specially for writers but for me just a creative and gamer it worked just fine…Connected instantly and for a while of not using it turns off to save battery but just one click and i reconnects on a blink of an eye.. looks amazing and feels good in my opinion, lets see what time says later… ... show more

Klickly klack mechanical keyboard nerds might argue, but this is a really good keyboard. The tactile feedback and audible clicks are very satisfying. The battery life is amazing, I haven't actually tracked it but I've used this keyboard light-to-moderately for seven days before deciding to plug it in. There isn't actually any indication that the battery is getting low that I have come across yet, but I figure plugging it in for a couple hours once a week is pretty reasonable. The keyboard has a beefy feel to it unlike many others that use cheap plastic and add weights to give the appearance of higher quality. I really like the quick switch between 3 bluetooth devices and being able to bounce between desktop, tablet, and phone with a simple button press. ... show more

On the plus side, this keyboard has a very nice, tactile, mechanical feeling and I like the colorful LED backlighting behind the keys. Installation was simple put in the USB wireless adapter, Turn it on and it’s ready to go. Which is good because despite coming with an encyclopedic sized instruction manual, it has absolutely no instructions whatsoever in 12 languages other than how to use the function keys. What would be nice to know? Well, for example, does it take batteries? Or do you charge it periodically. If so, how? Does it have to be turned on to charge? I don’t know. I did charge it by plugging it into a USB port overnight before using. It seems to be happy. But I would like to know something about the charge cycle. It came with all kinds of spare parts, including an entirely different set of keys. Why would I want to use them? I don’t know. How do I change them? I don’t know, but it came with a tool to do so. OK boomer. As I mentioned in the title, it is an extremely small or should I say, compact keyboard. Measuring 11 inches in width, That will take some getting used to as it is even smaller than my laptop’s built-in keyboard. It is also fairly heavy. Heavier than I expected. Update again: my new keyboard has worse battery life than this, and it’s brand-new. Being able to turn the keyboard OFF between uses is a huge help. This keyboard is now what I use for my ipad because I infrequently need a keyboard and the battery life is great since I’m able to turn it totally off between uses. I’m going back to 5 stars for this keyboard, even though it isn’t my favorite tactile experience, but it is still awesomely clicky 😀 UPDATE: The battery life has gotten pretty bad after 22 months; I've been pulling out my Apple keyboard about once a week because the Newmen keyboard's battery died. Occasionally something goes screwy and keys aren't mapped properly and I have to remove and re-add the keyboard on bluetooth. Still love it vs. the laptop-like magic keyboard but knocking a star off. Fabulously clicky just like old keyboards. Love it. Had a redragon keyboard that died unexpectedly and this is way better. Hopefully this one lasts. I did add some stick-on feet to the back to raise it up a bit because there are no fold-out feet. Overall very happy with it. Connected to my iMac without issue (it wanted to confirm that it's an ANSI keyboard but that was all). Directions are clear on how to connect via bluetooth and how to change the lighting settings. The Newmen GM610 60% Keyboard is well built and has many features that you wouldn't expect at this price point Newmen seems to fly under the radar and there is very little on the internet about this under priced 60% Bluetooth wireless/wired keyboard. This board is not a cheap bare bones unit considering the onboard Bluetooth 3.0 and 5.0 and the ability to assign and quickly choose from three different devices via the onboard Bluetooth with a simple function key combination as well as a wired option with a USB -C connector. This little keyboard rivals the more expensive popular brand boards out on the market today. You have the option of blue, brown or red switches which should give most what they are looking for in a 60% board. I opted for the red switches which are just right for my needs of general typing and some gaming and they sound great without being annoyingly loud. The switches are hot-swappable 3-pin OUTEMU switches which have a wonderful feel and in my opinion is perfect right out of the box. The GM610 also comes with an extra full set of dark blue key caps and 14 red caps for the control /function keys which allows you to mix and match key colors for a custom look on your desktop. I don't think you can go wrong with this little keyboard for the price and custom options that come along with it. I am using this keyboard with my desktop Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 8Gb and I am considering purchasing another one in the very near future so I can take one on the go with my portable Raspberry Pi Cyberdeck build. ... show more

Update. The installation app works on Windows 11, but only if you are using the wired connection. And In order for the keyboard to recognize it's in the wired connection you have to press FN and the Plus tab for three seconds. Really like the keyboard now that I can adjust the colors to my liking.
