I like them. They are so comfortable, but my children occupied them. So I had to order another two but I choose white color. I was confused when I had assembled new stools. Size of black and white stools were different. Black size is 15x15x12 opposite 17x17x17 description on site. Keep it in mind on your order.

These stools worked properly for maybe one year on very light use. Ever since then, they stopped locking in the adjusted position (both of them). They just go back up to the highest position, even while you’re sitting on them. Also became very difficult to adjust them. My wife had to ask for help. These stools have become statues in our kitchen a while ago. I still haven’t thrown them out because it’s so hard to admit defeat after spending a hundred dollars.

The cushions feel nice and the product looks good. Like all the other reviewers said, the chairs DO lean forward a lot. Also, the black rubber circle at the bottom that they use to protect your floor will still scratch it up. I suggest buying a thin rug to put underneath the chairs if you have hardwood floors. *** Update Dec 7th 2015 ** Just a few days after leaving my initial review one of my chairs started lowering itself all on its own. The slightest movement while sitting causes the hydraulics to lower the chair all the way down. For my counters the chairs have to be near the top to be useful/comfortable. The other(less used chair...should I even note that considering its been less than a week?) doesn't have this problem.

I've been looking for a way to contact the seller for some time now and have found this is the only way so I hope you will contact me ASAP. Yes the stools are beautiful as pictured, very comfortable and are great for the price BUT they have been practically useless for me in the past few months that I have had them. The small screws that hold the seat onto the main pedestal keep falling off rendering the stools utterly useless as we cannot sit on them . I keep trying to locate the screws but it's hard and put them back in . Firstly the seller should send in extra screws with the product and the exact size L shaped tool to tighten them or they should make the screws longer in length as they are so small that it's not a wonder why they can't hold onto the heavy wide seat above . This is a beautiful product but these flaws are rendering it useless for me as even Home Depot doesn't carry that exact same screw so now many are missing. Therefore this is my attempt to contact the seller. I'm not trying to return them but I want you to help me fix this problem pls.

I purchased 4 of these stools for my kitchen counter in April 2017....so they are not quite 2 years old. We are retirees with not a lot of “kitchen” use,but I sit at counter all throughout the day....just sit no abuse to stools! Within the past 6 months they have started to “squeak “ when sitting and turning....quite annoying...so having 4 stools I switched the one I sit at and lo and behold within a short period of time it too was squeaking.My handy husband took one apart to try to see what the cause was to no avail. The stools being “bonded” leather are also “flaking” on the seat area.....losing leather. My recommendation is if you want cheap and pretty and are not into long time use,then these will suffice.....getting 4 stools for under $200 should have warned me that they would not last. I also had a hydraulic issue within the first few months and after contacting Amazon to get manufacturers number they sent a new hydraulic that luckily my husband knew how to install. I gave 2 stars because they do have a nice appearance when just sitting at counter.

I have been using the most rickety of stools behind the counter at my hat shop. The braces would perpetually loosen and the fabric was tearing, and it just looked all around raggedy, so it was time for a new chair. I saw this set of two matching chairs with leather seats at what I consider a really good price, so I ordered them and hoped for the best. Well I was not disappointed. It took my husband about five minutes to put the chairs together. There was very little work involved, and I'm sure I could have done it myself, but I prefer to let him do it because that way, if something goes wrong, I can blame him. Plus he has all of the tools hidden from me. Anyway, he brought me out a chair and wow. Nice looking chair! The adjuster is really good on this chair and it pretty much stays where I put it. Every so often I do find myself sitting a little bit lower than I'd started out, but not a big deal. The seat is comfortable. And the chair itself is lightweight enough so that I can move it out of the way to get under the counter. I like the shiny base even though it is a dust attractant. These are all around good looking chairs. The chair does tend to make me feel as if I'm being pushed forward. To counteract that, when my husband put the second chair together, he added a piece of metal to try to get the seat to lean back more. This made no noticeable difference to me, and I still feel as if I'm being cast forward a bit. Sitting behind my counter, though, it doesn't really bother me. I think if I didn't have the counter to lean on, it might bother me, but it's fine. The material on my chair has a couple of imperfections, but nothing really noticeable. Overall I am very happy with my new chair, and my husband is happy that there were two, and that the price was right. I would recommend these. They are good looking and comfortable.
