I use it to mold burgers; works really good. Don't smash the meat into the mold; try to use a light touch. Make a bunch of them and freeze them; they go right on the grill, or in the pan, frozen. I actually bought this ring to make funnel cakes. I thought the ring that came with the funnel cake kit was cheap and flimsy and honestly didnโ€™t think it would work...it was that poorly designed. I also couldnโ€™t figure out how to lock it together. This ring worked like a charm.

As others have mentioned itโ€™s not perfectly round and doesnโ€™t sit completely flush but knowing that going in, this is still perfect for my needs. Mainly to be used for shaping burger patties. Thick, durable steel and the exact size I was looking for at a good price. Should last a lifetime.
